Ah, Where the Wild Things Are. I only remember thinking that book was a disappointment and I agree with Gus that there was no need to make it a movie. Also, it encourages bad parenting styles - according to my Child Psych major friends.

Well you got to hand it to the Japanese , they know how to make a good looking cartoon. The iron man one looks awesome , not sure about the Wolverine one he dose not really look right but i guess that's just a Western perspective.

About ejecting a disk from a mac book. Seems to always work for me on my macbook pro. Reboot the computer and hold the trackpad button down at the chime. Not sure if this works on those new unibody ones, but it works on the ones just before that.

About the marketing thing, in my Media class a couple of years ago, they said the average Hollywood film has a budget of $85 million: $55 million to make the film, and $30 million in marketing.
I agree with you guys on the theater audience bit. People just don't pay attention enough to understand when something's not funny. Another good example is Valkyrie with Tom Cruise. Everyone seemed to think that his forced salute with his handless arm was hilarious.
