WARNING: This journal is probs going to be long. I understand that most people don't read long journals. That's cool. You can just look at the pictures and pretty much gather the story, anyway.
So I promised a journal, and here's one: My Pax East weekend. I won;t go step by step, that would be boring. And full of walking. But I will tell all the awesome highlights.
My friend Mike and I arrived at Pax, and promptly went to the RT booth where we met the lovely Barbara, (She was super nice.) and got her to sign my Internet Box Autograph Paper-er 9000. (It's a piece of paper with the IB logo on it) I also got to meet Gus! (He wasn't nice like Barbara, but.. Gus nice) After turning from the booth, I noticed the super cool Brian Behm standing off to the side, and went over to say hi. We ended up chatting for a few minutes, (seriously, he's an awesome dude), and he gave me his very own Achievement Hunter pin, for keepsies!
Love this pin
We went to the Penny Arcade Q&A, and The RT panels, which were both hilarious. Although, the RT one was better, and we saw a glimpse of season 10. Which was fucking amazing, by the way. During the RT Panel, Burnie announced that Ray (Brownman on Achievement Hunter) had finally been hired! I made it a point to find him after the panel and congratulate him. But, as he was singing my IBAP 9000, we got yelled at by the lovely Pax Enforcers to leave the theater. But we did meet later on, and snapped this lovely photo:
It's a bit fuzzy, but it's still amazing.
Oh, and I met Jack.
Honestly, other panels were a blur, but the booths were pretty sweet. Played Double Dragon Neon, Far Cry 3, Battleblock Theater, Shoot Many Robots, Joe Danger The Movie, and a few others, and they were all pretty great.
The highlights were meeting all the wonderful people there, and taking some great photos. Like the ones with MisterSir and Michael Jones:
Also met BenBen, who's a pretty awesome guy, and ran into Ray like 17 times, and got numerous hugs and high fives
This was a great first Pax. I already can't wait for my next event, RTX.
