Hey guys, I'm over at the mega-shelter in Alexandria, Louisiana.
There are so many different people here, but the one thing we all share is that we had to be evacuated from our homes due to Harvey.
I came out of Southeast Texas, and I'm a lucky duck, cause some people's homes there were flooded up to the roofs. (And getting out into that murky water was somewhat nerve-wracking, given the fire ant islands and potential gators in our area.)
Personally, I'll worry about the house later. Right now I (and the cats) are very happy to be safe and dry, and to be getting help from the volunteers and those who donated.
(To those who did, thank you. <3)
