Good news, Jak and Daxter fans! PlayStation just announced that in addition to the first game, they're adding the rest of the classic series digitally to PS4 next week.

In a new blog post, the company announced that Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X Combat Racing will all be landing on PS Store December 6, bringing you classic gaming goodness just in time for the holidays. PlayStation wrote: "The narrative tropes Naughty Dog explored in Jak and Daxter laid the foundation for the evolution of their highly innovative story telling. It put them on the path that led to the creation of future blockbuster franchises like Uncharted and The Last of Us— and to think it all started with giving Jak his own voice."

While I haven't played Jak 3 and Jak X Combat Racing, I do have very fond memories of Jak II on the PS2. At the time, it did some open world concepts that were fairly new at the time, but are pretty commonplace now in terms of game structure. It's definitely worth checking out if you're into that kind of thing and need a new classic to play.

Also, seriously Naughty Dog -- when is this series coming back?
