Cancer..... .....I wouldn't wish such an ailment amongst my deepest of enemies.
I have recently lost my father to esophagial cancer (and I still regret for not finding the time to put it in a journal) after a near 3 year bout. I miss him dearly as he was the pillar of our family and he accounted for much of the strength that I now lack since his passing.
This summer, my ex-girlfriend Melanie, who still retains a small part of my life was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had just finished 7 years of university studies and was very anxious to get out into the workforce and start to pay off he $40,000+ accumulated in government student loans. Her ambition and drive in life saddens me into thinking of terms of her bad luck.
