My Portal 2 conspiracy: (Spoiler Alert)
This i just a rant about what i think is going on in the portal universe, all speculation btw
Chell was there on bring your daughter to work day, so her parent or parents worked at Aperture. Which was the day when Glados took over Aperture. Chell had one of the potato batteries, more specifically she had the one that grew out of control half-life.wikia.com/wiki/File:Chellproject.png
And on that poster shell says that she used a "special ingredient from Daddy's work." so the parent that brought her was indeed her father. And in the portal comic Lab Rat, Doug Rattmann selects Chell from a list of candidates, but he last name was redacted, so we don't know who her father was
Now here comes all my speculations, just em thinking out loud here
I believe that one of the secret ingredients from her fathers work might have been the moon rocks, the ones that made Cave Johnson terminally ill. Between the moon rocks and the 3 gels that were encountered in the lower levels of Aperture, the moon rocks are the ones that have an unknown effect. well besides poisoning.
So i believe that Chell used the moon rocks from her father, who is none other then... Cave Johnson! dun dun dun!!!
again this is all speculation and me making up conspiracies.
i believe that the reason why Chells name was redacted on the candidates list. He had he last name removed so that the test overseers would not be bias towards her
another thing is that Chell and Caroline share some similar features, well at least what i can tell from the single painting of her.
you may think, it cant be him, they cant be her parents because they were way before her. well ive got one thing to say. Cryo sleep
Chell awoke in Portal from cryo and she awoke from cryo in Portal 2. so she would not have aged and she could have been in there for god knows how long. Also Ive seen that between the first time Chell wakes up in the hotel like room in Portal 2 and the second time,she spent at least 273 years in there.
On a side not, at teh end of Lab Rat, Doug Rattmann was injured and he made his way to the cryo bed that Chell awoke from at the beginning of Portal. He is assumed to be dead, however, the bed was missing from that beginning room in Portal 2. Perhaps he is stored in cryo somewhere within Aperture, still alive. That is if Wheatley didnt totally fuck everything up.
