Life Update
An update of my life for anyone who actually reads this.
I am once again single. I broke up with Kyle about a month ago. We really weren't a good match personality wise. When we got back together at the end of May 2008 I thought he was the love of my life. I'd been in love with him since i was 19, the first time we dated, but we didn't spend much time together as a couple since he was in Iraq. When he called me last spring I was interested in another guy. This other guy was dealing with some things that had happened recently and he had had become antisocial while dealing with his issues.
Kyle called during this time and wanted me back. I tried to wait to see if the other guy was interested in me, but when the other guy stopped talking and spending time with me I ended up getting back together with kyle. I thought i would be happy with him.
Turns out we have different interests and values. I want adventure and excitement. I need someone who wants to go and do things with me. Even if its as simple as a walk in the park or a picnic. I want someone who will get up and go caving or hiking in the morning with me and then go home and cuddle on the couch, watching tv and just spending time together.
I knew Kyle couldn't hike and cave, but I thought he liked going on picnics with me and spending time together. Turns out he didn't really want to go on picnics with me or even play video games with me. We had nothing in common.
On the brightside moving to Bowling Green did allow me to meet my best friend Anna and make alot of great friends. But I just wish I'd know to begin with that kyle was not going to be the man I'd dreamed of. I wish Kyle hadn't tried to get me back, he knew I was interested in someone who shared my interest in camping, hiking, shooting, etc. I don't regret dating kyle because I no longer wonder "what if," I just wish I'd been smart enough to realize that it wasn't going to work out back in January or February.
Anyway, enough rambling. I'm taking an archaeology class and some upper level history classes. I've moved out into my own place and will be applying to law school for next year.
I'm also looking forward to Halloween, this year I'm dressing up as a Vampire Slayer and partying with my friends. And hopefully I can someday find someone who shares my interests.

I love Jane Austen's books and read any sequels to them i can find. My favorite of her books is "Pride and Prejudice" and my second favorite is a tie between "Sense and Sensibility" and "Persuasion." I love going camping at Red River Gorge with my friends. I also have an unhealthy addiction to shopping (a downside to working at the mall). The Irish Tenors Pat Benatar and Lorrie Morgan are some of my favorite artist. For the most part I can listen to anything but rap. I love rock music and listen to alot of classic rock.
