Science. I find it absolutely horrible that some people are ignorant enough of the world around them to attempt to refute decades of scientific research by great minds of our time such as Charles Darwin, Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking with something as absolutely ridiculous as the idea of religion. Religion is NOT dynamic and ever-changing to make sense with new and incredible discoveries of brilliant people. Religion is a block to progress; a cancer on this civilization. I don't know about the reader's opinion, but I for one am infinitely more willing to get my explanation of the natural world from decades of well-studied, dynamic, and strongly backed research than some static book that is over a thousand years old, written hundreds of years AFTER the events it depicts, and was written in a time where people ingested/smoked hallucinogenic substances in order to have "spiritual visions". Who are you more willing to trust to explain the world to a child? A skilled and highly-praised professor with decades of teaching experience, or a random person who just had "magic" mushrooms and LSD?
