17 year-old male from Copenhagen, Denmark In 1995, there was a horrible occurrence that took place at the TMC Medical center. A child was born without a left lung, and had to have immediate surgery. An experimental prosthetic lung was placed in his chest, that would have to be replaced every four years. The child survived, astonishingly, and currently is a healthy Sophomore at a local High School.
