if anything, the blue guy would be Agent Utah, AKA Caboose. He may not have gone crazy all at once, but gradually. Caboose can be smart when he needs to be, and hes seriously strong (remember season 5?). Utah had a strength multiplier, which would explain Caboose's insane strength, and his freelancer training would explain why he's so good with electronics(remember how the best techs in the military couldnt open the epsilon unit, but Caboose could?)My guess is when Utah went crazy, the Director realized he still had some potential, so instead of ditching him from the program, he sent him to a training outpost, AKA Blood Gulch, later Valhalla.
But if he was, he was most likely red at sidewinder as when everyone except sarge, church, and tucker were transferred to rats nest they remained on there same teams so it is unlikely that sarge was a sidewinder blue then a blood gulch red, plus, he hates blues.

Now i know ur asking "where the hell did you get that from?" but if you sall the halo fest interview with Rooster teeth and when they did the live reading some one asked how they picked wat states to use for agents. and burnie replied that they had to pick ones that had catchy names or catchy nicknames. he gave an example by saying that there wasnt a good nick name for anyone named rhode island and then the crowd yelled out RHODY! and after that he complimented them on the name and wrote it down. so thats my take on it. and im calling DIBS on Rhody!
I loved the Season 9. The ammount of action was intense and the comedy was great. Rooster Teeth, bringing us online comedy since 2003. From all the fans I say thank you.
idk who that blue odst is but it isnt utah because if you watch the episode spiral ( when my favorite character maine gets shot in the throat :() at the very end when it shows all the freelancers in the pelican right next to wyoming the blue odst is sitting there and utah is already dead
Ok here’s what I think: The blue guy is Utah/Caboose, because after the bubble shield malfunction he gets brain damage from the lack of air (Caboose’s idiocy) and there is no proof that Utah died just that the shield malfunctioned.
Also the blue guy seems to be shorter than everyone else and in Episode 51 Tucker says: “Maybe we could just get Lopez to give Caboose more feet.†Then Caboose says: “Oh! I like that idea! I have always wanted to be taller.†This implies that caboose is short
Other reasons are: Caboose’s insane strength - from being a freelancer His skill at electronics - moving epsilon from body to body and helping Tex fix the tank in Season 9 Ep 17 He is a good shot - even though those shots are aimed at teammates because of his stupidity, but he was also able to hit Sarge with the sniper rifle in Season 1
Also on the pilot issue, there is nothing to say that a freelancer cannot be a pilot and/or that is the job he was given after his inability to perform as a regular freelancer

i totally agree with this, as it would make alot of sense, and also he has a different helmet to everyone else, just like caboose does in the episodes.
C.T. is connected with Insurrection somehow, remember the end of the Freelancer segment of Season 9 Episode 19 (Whole Lot of Shaking), C.T. is talking to an Insurrectionist, when Wash comes in.
For all who dont know Utah died during training because he used equipment on the field even tho its not aloud....so the blue ODST is just a guy or girl who isnt really mentioned much...an hes definetly not cabbose
Alright this is a little late. I think it's another freelancer. Not Utah, he's dead. That's been made clear. Not Caboose either, he didn't even know what freelancers were until first season of red vs blue. No matter how dumb he was, I"m pretty sure he'd remember how he got that way. If they'd whiped his memory F.I.L.S.S would have recognized him and pointed him out to "The Director." I think he/she is a yet to be named, but important, freelancer. I'd like to see the name Alaska. They wouldn't even have to make a nickname for her(Alaska wouldn't work for a guy, actually I've already made the character in my mind.
But all the blues were removed from the database! Also I think brain damage would lead to memory loss anyways. Lots of people are making the argument that Utah is not dead since the scene is deleted. And Caboose likes to call out states randomly, maybe those could be other freelancer names!
