Well those of you who took note 5 journals ago will be aware that I was "Let go" from my job just over a month ago. And in 24 hours me and my wife fell out of our middle class existence and into the land of comparing the value between BOGOF Shower Gel and half price Shower Gel.

Matters were not aided by the fact that I was entitled to exactly 0 benefits. Despite the fact that I have been paying higher than the national average in national insurance tax for the past year and a half. Thanks the HMRC deciding that studying abroad is not a valuable use of my time.

I have been very desperately looking for work.

I have been very desperately looking for work.

The interesting thing is I found work. Very quickly. But none of it is in the city I live in. It's nowhere near. So I have been forced to accept a job that is 3 hours from my house which means for 5 days a week I will be living away from my wife and then doing a 6 hour commute between Cambridge and Salisbury so that we can still be the fledgling family we set out to be.

Unfortunately the job is not what I want it to be it's the same thing that I was doing at my last place of work. Sure there were good parts but it's not what I want to do. 2 jobs that I do want to do have come up in the last week 1 in Ireland and 1 about an hour away from me. So I have been desperately attempting to get myself into interviews for these positions before I start work. This has worked to a degree so I will now be flying to Ireland on Monday (the supposed start date of my new job) to prove my worth and hope they don't mind hiring a foreigner...

Speaking of I'm off to California in June to attempt to sway several different Air Traffic facilities there that I am worthy of being picked up next time they think about it.

So yeah, I've been busy and haven't had much time for the general fluff of this place. That combined with the fact that much of what Rooster Teeth produces is actually no longer interesting to me. I haven't listened to a Podcast since early this year. I didn't watch the last season of RvB. I don't care about this RWBY thing.

I have been watching the AH stuff but Youtube works better than whatever player they use here so I use youtube for that.

Why then am I still here? Well for the longest time why I was here is the community but now even that seems to be losing its appeal. People seem angry now and I have better things to do than try and be the voice of reason on the internet.

I'm not quitting RT. I'm not raging out. I'm just explaining my lack of me.

But people... Why so angry?
