Waypoint, Legends, Endure & ReachYeah, this journal is all Halo.To start off, Waypoint: Epic. Awesome. Fantastic. There you have it. Now, it's not perfect, Waypoint awards could've been done better, but it's still great. The info&news section is great too. I roflol'd at the Halo in 5 minutes by IGN. Other vids are great too. Archive is really usefull to, although missing some vids. And I'm missing the 10 best firefight tactics vid. And now while we're on waypoint, let's go through the first episode of Halo: Legends; Babysitter. It's cool. There are a few things wrong about it, though (Spoiler alert): - The Forerunner Ruins: They look NOTHING forerunner like we've seen before. Nor the Halo 3 fancy forerunner, nor the halo 2 ruins. And there are giant buddha like structures. WTF?! They think they can just give away what the Forerunners looked like? Giant humans?! srsly, worst move ever. Ok, beside the ruins, it was great. Except for 1 other detail: - SPARTAN Cal-141 dying. This is the point I stop blaming publishers for letting Spartans die/vanish, like Halo Wars, Spartan Black and now Legends. This is the point I start putting Fall of Reach's canon in question (again). It has been done before, when they stated untill 2552 only 2 Covenant species were encountered, while by now more as half a dozen species were encountered prior to 2552. There are 2 explenations for this, imo: 1. More Spartans entered the program (The full 300, instead of the 150 cut made by Halsey). This way, during the program and before the augumentation, there is room for the children to fail and leave. Let's say 100 children dropped out before the augumentation. Then, at the Augumentation, 100 dropped out more, wounded or dead. So now you have 100 spartans left, of which plenty could've died during the war, while still having enough at Reach to make the Fall of Reach story correct. 2. Option number 2 goes out from the same amount of Spartans entering and completing the training, only 33. Of these 33, only 20 could've gone to Reach, instead of the 25-30 FoR suggests. This way it'll be a tight fit, but a fit noneoftheless. Now, Endure attempt 7: I blame my teammates. Seriously. We made it though set 4, round 3, wave 5. Then we failed, again. End scores: Me: 308K points, 16 deaths. teammate 1: 120K, 20 deaths teammate 2: 110K, 22 deaths teammate 3: 100K, 18 deaths. Ok, seriously, I had almost half of the points. The fuck? Now lastly about Halo: Reach; images got leaked here. My opinion of them: Battle rifle changed a lot, more realistic. I don't like it, the scope looks weird. Rocket launcher looks too big Splazer's ok. I like the new screen. Carbine and warthog in last pic look awesome. judging by the arms when holding the battlerifle, spartans will be the subject. On the battle rifle pic, the buildings don't look that great. Tell me what you think about it. |
