3653Well, it's been a long time, hasn't it? Funny how life slips away sometimes. Not that it should be much of a surprise, but this journal is going to be about the tenth anniversary of Rooster Teeth.

Where to start, where to start? Rooster Teeth. Two basic words of the English language that, when put together, make sense to only a few people, but to those few...they are more than just words. They are powerful, strong, emotional even. To some, it means home. To some, a place to slip away from home. If you're like me, it's a place to find yourself, or save yourself from your thoughts. Rooster Teeth is home to a large variety of people, and without it, I think it's fair to say the world would be different. I would be different. Burnie, Matt, Gus, Geoff, and Joel got together 10 years ago and started something that I don't think they would have ever imagined becoming this massive, this crazy, this...beautiful. They've gone to a small room to one of the most talent filled buildings of the best people the Internet has seen. They truly rode the wave of technology and development and became what few can even dream. A place where adults, teenagers, lost or down, or even just wanting to feel like a kid again could all come together and talk about something they loved. While I may not be as old or as knowledgeable as some of the folks here...I think I can say I didn't imagine, when I sat down those 5 years ago to watch Season 5, that one day THIS would exist. Hell, Achievement Hunter wasn't even a thing when I started getting in to RT. Look at it now, a bunch of great guys sitting in an office all day playing games together, and making those guides...sometimes ( ).

While the days of Mod Points, +1 Cool's and image erasures are behind us (thankfully, for the last one...), RT is going through it's biggest growth yet, and there ain't no stoppin' us nooooww *cough*, and hopefully there won't be. While I may not like all of these changes, I still love to sit down with a little bit of Sarge, Grif, Simmons, Donut, Doc, Caboose, Church, Tucker, Wash, Wade, Sam, Chalmers, Tobar, Nikki, and everybody else and have a great time getting lost in worlds and stories that we all love.

So, with that, I've come to my end. Thank you for the ten years of life Rooster Teeth. Thank you for saving me from going to the darkest corners of myself with your comedy, light heartedness, nerdiness, and stories. Thank you for making me feel like I belonged somewhere, even when I didn't want to belong anywhere. I'll never forget all the good times, and I look forward to even more of them. Hell, maybe even RTX one of these years ( wish I could be at RTX 2013).
