It's A Beautiful Thing Just finished putting my new computer together. Finally upgraded after three or four years!
I had a noisy full-tower Antec case with four 80mm fans and a Thermaltake Volcano 6 processor fan. Pretty cool case for 2001 (snap-in fan slots, 3 tool-free 5.25 drive slides, two 3.5 external-access drive slots, and a removable 3-slot 3.5 drive chassis with snap-in fan slot, and screw-free locking side panel), it was just TOO heavy (even has a support bar).
Here are the specs of my latest triumph: Enermax Chakra mid-tower case (black on black) Lian Li 500w power supply ECS K8T890-A motherboard AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor (~3.8GHz) w/ stock fan 1 GB DDR dual-channel RAM (2x512MB) nVidia GeForce 6800 video card Evergreen 120mm case fan
The old stuff transferred to the new: Generic DVD burner (got it for $80 four years ago) 60GB 7200RPM hard drive 300GB 7200RPM hard drive D-Link wireless network card 801.11g
