Stick with us - this journal's got important details about the contest that runs alongside the series and its prizes.
We're so excited for everyone to experience this show; not just for the stellar 35+ member cast of all your favorite Rooster Teeth staff, but also because it's going to be quite the fun challenge to work on discovering clues and solving the extensive puzzle the team has built for the show.

2. Each week for 7 weeks, a survey will be available on roosterteeth.com/elr/selection (you must be logged in to see it!) Surveys will go live once new episodes premiere for FIRST members
-You may log ONE answer per survey
-The weekly survey will allow participants to select one "Assassin" (the killer for that episode) and one "Target" (the team to be eliminated by that killer)
3. There is a way to discover the PRECISE correct answers each week, and in order to do so, you will have to complete a handful of puzzles hidden in every episode, to uncover 5 images called the Haywood Files
4. If there is a tie for the grand prize, all tied players will be notified with a date & time for a tiebreaker to occur, and there will be a timed challenge. Details will be delivered to contestants if this does occur.
Weekly Winners (5 FIRST members, 5 non-FIRST members)
- Exclusive Eleven Little Roosters postcard signed by ELR cast members

I came to Rooster Teeth on December 12, 2011. That makes today my 5-year anniversary officially at the company. Whoa.
It's impossible to sum up the last 5 years, but I'll try it in 5 words: exhilarating, overwhelming, terrifying, rewarding, happy. Rooster Teeth and its community have impacted my life more than anything ever has, and likely more than anything ever will. It's hard to imagine my life any other way.
So much has changed since I started watching Rooster Teeth content in 2004, and just like many long-time fans, it's hard for me not to get nostalgic over certain aspects and miss the way some things used to be. However, I've also realized that in order to grow and thrive, you need to keep adapting, and changing, as long as what's important to you doesn't change. For me, that's the feeling of being part to the Rooster Teeth family. Feeling like I belong. That's what made me fall in love with this community so many years ago, and what continues to hold true for me.
I feel so fortunate, and grateful for you all; for supporting me, for supporting Rooster Teeth, and allowing me to be here and interact with you.
I look forward to many, many, many more years.

I leave for Germany tomorrow. This is the fist time I've ever been to Germany, and the first time I've been in Europe. (Hoping to change that within the next year - I want to see ALL the places!)
Michael, Lindsay and I will be guests at Connichi, which is an anime convention in Kassel, Germany. I hope to see some of you guys there! If any of you have been to Kassel, what are some fun things to do? We'll be there for a few days, so we got some time to explore.

It’s almost here-- the release of our brand new sci-fi comedy series, Crunch Time! It’s been a long time coming, and so much passion, creativity, and hard work has been put into this show. We can’t wait for you guys to finally see it.
With the premiere only a week away (September 11th) we wanted to fill you in on some exciting details.
Just like Day 5, we want to give everyone a chance to get a taste of what Crunch Time is like. Therefore, we’ve decided to make the first TWO episodes available for the public. Not only that, but they’ll BOTH be available to watch on September 11th!
If you dig it (which you will… believe me), you can sign up for a FIRST membership and be able to watch the entire season, BTS and extra episodes, as they comes out each week (and, of course, get all the other awesome FIRST member benefits).
But that’s not all…
For the first time ever, to give you guys more flexibility in how you might want to watch the show, Crunch Time will also be available to purchase episode by episode, each for $2.99 HD / $1.99 SD, on many of the popular digital download platforms the day after it airs on RoosterTeeth.com.
(Keep in mind, grabbing all the episodes will end up being almost as much as 6 months of FIRST membership. Hint hint… become a FIRST member, get more bang for your buck! Plus, the BTS and other extra episodes will ONLY be available for FIRST members)
To sum up:
- See the first TWO episodes of Crunch Time for free on September 11th
- Sign up for FIRST membership to see every other episode, and get all the other awesome benefits of FIRST
- You can also buy individual episodes, each for $2.99 HD / $1.99 SD, via popular digital platforms the day after the air date on RT
We’ll see you in one week for the premiere! Woo!

In just a few hours, the first pilot episode of Always Open is released upon the world!
In case you have no idea what I'm talking about, read this.
This pilot episode, and the next 3 pilot episodes, will be ONLY available to FIRST members (so make sure you sign up so you can watch!) We'd love to get your reactions and feedback after each episode, so make sure you leave a comment when it's up, or tweet us using #AlwaysOpen. These are pilot episodes, which means we'll be making notes and changing things/improving things as we go, in order to get it to where we want it to be. Your constructive feedback is very much appreciated.
It's been a crazy ride getting Always Open up and running. This is the first show I've ever produced, and I'm unbelievably grateful to both Rooster Teeth and our community for trusting me with such a big opportunity.
I absolutely wouldn't have been able to do this without a team of amazing people - especially the entire broadcast team, Marcus and the art department, and especially Patrick and Mariel for holding my hand through it all. Everyone is so goddamn talented and good at what they do, and I'm so lucky to be able to work with them. You never realize how many people are involved in a show like this, so help me in thanking them for their dedication to this project. Love you guys! <3
For our first episode tonight, I'm joined by Mica, Mariel, and Lindsay - shoutout to those ladies for taking the leap of faith with me and being on a brand new show right out of the gate. We had a blast filming this episode, and I know you guys will enjoy it.
I'll be tweeting along at 10:30PM CT when the show gets released, so feel free to join me using #AlwaysOpen.
And of course- thank YOU all for your perpetual support and love. It means everything to us.
WE DID IT Y'ALL!
See you tonight at 10:30 PM CT!

"Yo, 15-year-old Barbara"
"What's up, 27-year-old Barbara?"
"So, stay with me here. You know how you're obsessed with this Red vs. Blue show?"
"Well, in 12 years, you're going to be working with the guys who make it AND you're going to have written an episode for the 14th Season"
"lolol ok psycho gtfo my house"
Tomorrow afternoon, an episode of RvB 14 that I wrote will be released. WHAT? I can't believe this is happening, and I'm so honored to have been able to do this. There are so many talented, funny people who've worked on RvB over the last 13+ years, and to be able to say I had a TEENY TINY hand in this season is more than I could ever hope for.
When I was asked by Miles if I'd want to write an episode this season, my first reaction (after nodding frantically) was knowing it would have to involve O'Malley (AKA Evil Doc, for those who don't remember), who's always been my favorite character. Also good to note, one of my favorite episodes has always been Episode 31, where Church and Tex invade Caboose's head, and we see all his mental images of the other characters.
The episode isn't out until tomorrow at 12PM CT, so I don't want to give much more away. It'll make sense when you watch it.
Writing an episode of a show that's been around for almost 14 whole seasons makes it a bit hard; you really need to focus on getting the voices of the characters right. Big thanks to @Miles for holding my hand through the process and to @Josho for directing! (And of course the entire RvB team for making this happen)
I hope you enjoy!
People draw me sometimes, and they are really good at it.

RT will sadly not be at Fan Expo this year :(

It's pretty hard, but can be harder/easier depending on your situation. If you have a company that wants to hire you and sponsor your Work Visa / pay for an immigration lawyer to handle it, it's easier. If you don't have a job offer and are just trying to get to the states.. it's...hard. Real hard.

We recognize the issues with our site - and we're working on them. We recently brought on more people for web development and I believe front-end design (if not soon). Believe me, it's understood it needs a lot of work, and a lot of it has begun. Many things to work on, but you will start seeing improvement as we go. Our goal is to make this feel like a home for everyone, both in watching content and being part of a community base. Changes be comin'!

Still working on it! It's gone through a few different changes through development, but it's getting there. I'd rather take time to make it something good than rush it out. We'll hopefully have something started this year. :)

You can't have an "all time best" thing when all of them are perfect and god-like.
