I like how my most recent journals are all about how I haven't been on here in ages. I wish I could say its because my life is super fantastic and I'm always busy. That's a lie.

Well, its half a lie. I'm not always super busy, but life is pretty fantastic at the moment. Student loans are finally paid off, have a pretty kick-ass job testing smartphones, laughing at my other friends who are still in college and freaking out about midterms or whatever. This is me:

      i.chzbgr.com/maxW500/6880786688/h0CC8CE85/

That's another thing. I'm now totally fascinated with the Cheezburger site. Gotta get my daily fix when I come into work.

Um, what else.... Halo 4 is amazing. Assassin's Creed 3 is amazing. Black Ops 2... eh. Resident Evil 6 is getting more of a bad rap than it deserves. Anything that involves my man-crush Chris Redfield is amazing by default.

Pretty sure all of my friends on here either never log in or aren't interesting in my boring journals anymore. Except sphinxter. I can always count on you, brah. Anyway, I should make more friends. Gotta turn my Roosterteeth life around.

      dead diary

that should say dear diary, but im too lazy to change it.

found a website where i can watch the Walking Dead online. very happy.

Currently listening to the Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge soundtrack from the NES. Very emotional for me. Also, while I was typing that, my cat jumped from a high place onto my chest. fml.

Been playing CoD Black Ops a lot lately. its actually getting to be boring. same thing over and over again. soul calibur IV, too. im such a dick online in that game. i taunt out the ass, and then some. im glad none of my friends play that.

Got a new job at hhgregg doing customer service shiz. crappy pay, but at least its full-time with benefits. and huge employee discounts. cant justify being a sponsor right now, but maybe when i have some dough coming in...

this site used to be a lot more fun. is it really slow for anyone else?

      finally!

ok, so i know i practically never post journals on here anymore, but i thought it would be worthy to note that i FINALLY got myself a copy of Heavy Rain WOOOOO!! ever since i played Indigo Prophecy, this is the one major game i have been looking forward to since i first heard about it like... 3 yrs ago. and now to hole myself up in my house for... ever. GOODBYE!!

    • CeffJolquitt

      ok, so...

I know I haven't made a journal entry in a really long time and I don't really expect any of you to read this cuz i've lost touch w/ practically everyone on this site... unfortunately red vs blue kinda got a little boring. im sure a lot of ppl have felt that way at some point or another.

anywho, im mainly making this journal to express my excitement about how freaking AWESOME Assassin's Creed II was. (It makes me wonder if Obama has a Piece of Eden. He probably does.) But I'm just glad things were finally explained this time around. Great ending. Great characters. Great story. Just a little on the redundant side like the first one, but so what.

Ok, I guess that's all for now. Gonna try to start getting a little more involved again. Miss talking to ya'll!

Bingo...The card that comes with the 3DS definitely can't fit all of that stuff on there. So, if you want them all, you have to buy a bigger card...Which erases the "free" part.

Yeah, I saw there's still seven episodes left. I wonder if they're setting it up to be over after this season though. I sure hope not.

Ha, I wish I could. It's definitely not something I'm capable of anymore. My confidence was shot a long time ago somehow. For some reason, it isn't like baseball or softball anymore when I can launch one over the backstop allowing the runners to get an extra base, but then come right back the next time and throw a perfect dart right to my catcher for the out. It's more like, I hold the ball and watch the runners just keep running even though they're looking at me waiting for me to throw the ball in since they know they wouldn't stand a chance if I actually threw it in.

That comparison is strangely accurate. I actually made myself chuckle at that.

I would be down for that, but I have no clue where to even look for one. Do I just walk into a government building and say, "What up bitches! You have any job openings up in the crib?"

Nice timing on my point...I'm thinking DS3 is going to be like Halo 3. We find the original marker and destroy it. Although, that wouldn't make too much sense. If I gathered info correctly, the original one is a black marker and isn't actually harmful. I could be very wrong on that though. Plus, we know there's at least eleven other Marker sites. Don't get me wrong, I love this series, but I do want to just keep destroying markers again and again.

Haha, well played...Honestly, the best part of the night was the dog almost peeing on my friend's wife. He just walked up to her and lifted his leg. If it was noticed a second later or if he didn't wait, he would have done it right in her face. It became even funnier when I was told that early in the day, she was making fun of the dog for pissing like a chick dog. It's like the dog was saying, "You think I piss like a chick? Well, fuck you. I'll show you who pisses like a chick." I really wish he would have done it. It probably would have soured the night, but it would have so been worth it.

That would be something I would be interested in. Unfortunately, I assume one needs a journalism degree or something to get started in that. That's a nice springboard for actual writing though.

I've honestly never used that phrase in my life. However, you convinced me. I'm going to actually start using it too and watch as it spreads. It will be in a movie by the end of 2012.

I just googled it. It's on AMC. That would explain it. The only shows I actually watch on cable are South Park plus a few other Comedy Central shows, reruns of network shows that are now in syndication, and sports. I guess I have started watching Lights Out too. I'm giving it a chance. I just never get into cable shows for some reason. I've heard great things about a number of them though. Honestly, if money ever got really tight, cable would be one of the first things to go since I could get by with just network stations.

It doesn't run in my family. So, hopefully I won't. I would be sad though if I stopped remembering almost everything that is said or that I do though.

    • sphinxter

That's the best part of the AC universe. It can quite easily be spun off onto side projects. I just don't want the main story being dragged out and start to lose its...goodness...I can't think of a better word at the moment...I mean, unless it was originally planned for many games, it wasn't, the quality is bound to go down. That always seems to be the case when movies, books, t.v. shows, or video games are extended beyond what they were originally planned for. Which is good at first since that means the media did better than they thought and was a huge success, but ultimately bad since the quality of it goes downhill and sort of ruins its legacy. AC was originally supposed to be three games. Now, they did a good job "sneaking" Brotherhood into it to extend the story, but I don't want them to press their luck.

    • sphinxter

Yeah, that's what I figured too. That's about as far as they can go without guns being overly prominent. That being said, it better end with AC3. I don't mind if there are other games made as side stories or something like that, but I don't want them to stretch it out. That means a good portion of AC3 has to be mainly Desmond. Tracking down the temples, saving the planet, and all of that good stuff.

I doubt she's dead personally. I could be wrong though. I'm excited to know who "Eve" is going to end up being though since that's where it seems the plot is taking us.

    • sphinxter

Yeah, I think I mentioned the whole story, but it went like this. We were talking video games and my brother said something like, "Oh my god, they're talking about XBox. I bet he's going to get her to dress up like Link." She then corrected him by saying if would be me who dresses up as Link and she would dress up as Zelda.

Yeah, editing comments is sponsor only. It's somewhat nice to have. You could be awesome like me and just not make any mistkaes though. Or, just make them and not care enough to change them even though they're looking you right in the eye.

I never planned on going either, but I didn't want to be the "party pooper." The mistake was telling all of my friends about the experience because they spent all of tonight trying to get me to text her or call her. It was mostly the chicks too. It appears they want to have more contact with a stripper than I do. Don't get me wrong, the stripper seemed nice. Granted, that's part of her job, but she appeared to be one of those strippers who is just trying to find a way to be a single mom supporting her kid. I can sort of respect that. There are still better ways to do it, but I can't bash someone for taking almost the most extreme measure possible when I haven't been placed in that situation myself. Taking care of yourself is one thing, but taking care of another human being changes things quite a bit.

    • sphinxter

The battle system isn't weird at all. It takes a while to completely be opened up to you, but once it is, it's awesome. It's still very turn based. You have to wait for your attack gauge to fill up at least partially before you can attack. It has things like haste to speed yours up and slow to slow the enemy's down. The creative part is that it is all down real time. So, you can't really think too long about what you're going to do because the enemy doesn't waste his time thinking. It's like a good combo of the two styles. It doesn't take long at all to get used to since it gradually adds everything little by little. By the end, it's a nice complex battle system that require quick thinking and decision making. I thought I would be able to just spam the basic attack functions while switching to healing once in a while, but I was recently forced to develop a new tactic to defeat one of the bosses. It's pretty sweet.

Obviously, I'm not going to tell it's worth it since I love the game and my opinion is biased.

Eh, they have enough that interest me. The Uncharted series, Demon's Blade, and God of War 3 intrigue me quite a bit. Plus, Metal Gear Solid 4, but that doesn't really interest me.

The link one? Yeah that was fun to make. Kinda makes me want to make another one for you, but that last one is pretty hard to top. If I have time and come up with a better idea maybe I'll make another one.

Edit, unless you mean that one I made of you that's sort of like the avatar, with the film strip in the background.

Yeah, I know, I've read the storylines for every RE game. Like I said, for a good majority of them, it's virus, zombies, underground lab, blow up lab, Wesker dies, actually he doesn't, okay he does, got you again, really dead this time, nope got you one last time, etc., etc.

That being said, I'm sure I'll enjoy it. This would be far from the first game that had a "bad" story and "awesome" gameplay.

Well it's that time of night where I go through who's online, click on pics that appeal to me in all sorts of ways and then post a random comment on their page like "taco's aren't just yummy, they give you super powers".
(well the truth is I copy and paste this exact message into all the random peoples page, but hey, thats time managment for you.
So what now?, do you reply?, mod point this?, block me from communication? etc etc...
The fact is it's just a random thing I often do, there is no need for a response from yourself unless you want to. I don't have any cash prizes to give, holidays on offer, free cars or even taco's to hand out. It is just plain randomness that compel's me to do it (and a lack of the right med's).
For those of you that have been unfortunate in the past to recieve something like this from me, my heart goes out to you for the suffering It may have caused, but please understand that I don't keep a checklist of my unfortunate victims.
Well thats all from me, I leave you alone now to ponder this....
If we didn't call green,,,, green, what colour would grass be?
(I spelt it COLOUR because thats how it's done DownUnder)

Yes, they have a fiscal year like every other company. However, when most of the awards are given out, it's by websites and magazines and they just straight up use the year that they were released in. However, the Spike Video Game Awards uses a different period and they will probably eb in competition for that. Although, March might even be too late to get in with competition for that. Plus, those are voted on by fans. That just screams fan biasness towards one or the other.
