Man, I haven't posted a Journal on RT in a long long time.. ANYWAY!
Connor and I are streaming a Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Nuzlocke for Extra Life yet again! I'll just quote the blurb I wrote on the Extra Life page because that requires the least amount of effort.
Dear Friends, Family, and possible generous donators..
I'm on a mission to save kids and I need your help. My local Children's Miracle Network Hospital treats thousands of children each year, regardless of their family's ability to pay. These kids are facing scary stuff like cancer, cystic fibrosis, and injuries from accidents to name just a few.
So me and my very close friend Connor are going to be streaming video games and collecting donations to help out kids in need. Normally Extra Life streams are once a year, but we're going to try and do this multiple times this year, and raise as much money as we possibly can in the process.
The first stream will start on February 18th at 12pm Eastern/11am Central and end at the same time on the 19th. 24 hours straight! After that, we will plan and announce more 24 hour streams as we find the time to do them. It's all about having a good time, and bringing people together for a good cause, and we're more than happy to forego sleeping and sanity to get that job done.
Your donation is tax-deductible and ALL PROCEEDS go to the Children's Health Foundation in London, Ontario.
I need your help to reach my goal For The Kids. Please make a safe, easy donation online today. Click the "Support This Participant" button on this page to get started. Thank you so much for supporting the cause!
If you guys would like to donate to the cause, follow this link HERE to donate to my Extra Life page or HERE to donate to Connor's. It really means a lot to both of us if you can donate even the smallest amount.
You should be able to donate right NOW if you'd like! Any little bit helps! : )
P.S. Happy Valentine's Day!

So ever since Extra Life, I caught the livestream bug. It's a lot of fun, and I love interacting with fans on a whole different level! I've streamed Skyrim, Pokemon, and Dark Souls. Dark Souls might be my favourite since I know nothing about the game, I just take hints and direction from the viewers.
I recently started a new series on my YouTube channel which is essentially a highlight video of my livestreams, but with a ball load of editing thrown in. It's an easily accessible way to get into the streams and I hope it brings viewers over from Live Stream to YouTube and vice versa. I'm pretty proud of the format and how it turned out. It took about 5+ hours to make and I feel it was totally worth it.
If you guys like the video, it would help a ton if you shared it around! Give me even more incentive to make videos and have fun doing it. (I already love it, but you know what I mean)
Here's Chapter One of Dylon Stream Adventures in Skyrim!
And here's my Twitch channel!
I tweet out whenever I'm about to stream, so make sure to check there for the hook-up.
Anyway, I hope you all are having an amazing day! I'll see ya next time!

Now, onto the Q&A jam.
I've been planning a video where I answer all of your questions with my stupid face in front of a camera for a year, but I never had the necessary set up. Now I do! So I'll be taking questions on this weird website Ask.fm just because you don't have to make an account and it's easy for some of the lazier people out there.
You can ask any questions you may have about me, what I do, or anything else and I'll answer it to the best of my ability. This is a way for some newer peeps to get to know me a little better. It'll double as my channel trailer, so I'll go through the whole 'Welcome to my channel' spiel first then get right into the questions. I'll try to make it entertaining and not just informative, but we'll see if I can manage that great feat. If I don't get enough questions, I'll just go through some tumblr asks and old questions I got on that journal from a year ago.

I was going to make a cute little journal about X and Y, but I decided to hold off on that because something more important has come to my attention.
A YouTuber that goes by the name of TotalBiscuit, whom I don't watch personally, but I know he's a great guy with a great voice. If you aren't familiar with him, he has a series called "WTF is..." it's essentially a "Do you buy this game or not" review, where he plays a game and tells you if it's good or not and if you should purchase it.
He did one for a game called Day One: Garry's Incident and he said something along the lines of, 'the game is broken garbage, don't buy it'.
The video was taken down. It received a copyright claim from the French-Canadian developers stating that he had no right to make money off of their intellectual property. That being said, there are still a lot of videos out there about this game, all monetizing, most give bad impressions on the game. TotalBiscuit's video was targeted most likely because it has the most amount of views, and had the harshest critique on the game.
This is an example of how easily the YouTube copyright claim system is abused.
Check out the video TotalBiscuit himself made here. He explains everything from why this claim was unjust, to the outright lies from the developers of the game.
And please share this video around. I myself, try my best to put out content on YouTube and aspire to one day earn a living doing the thing I love so much. Playing video games, and interacting with friends and fans alike. If the system is continually abused as much as it, that'll never happen for me and for the thousands upon thousands of people that want to and currently do that themselves.
Thanks for reading, guys. I'll put out the X and Y journal sometime this week.
If you haven't already, check out the Internet Box Podcast Episode 104 it was a great one!
I made a little video prequel to the podcast which you can watch here.
And finally, my channel if you want to see the videos I make in my spare time.
Have a good day! : )

So, I've been playing LOADS of Animal Crossing: New Leaf and hopefully I can give my opinions on an upcoming podcast. 3 hour Animal Crossing-cast anyone? Something I will say, is my favourite piece of music from the game is hands down the song Kapp'n sings when he takes you to the island. I showed my appreciation for this song on twitter, and so did @hameko1019, the musician behind Internet Box Episode 85's Intro! She took the lyrics that he sings and sung it in her awesome voice! She did a great job, so go show your support to her and listen to it here!
Animal Crossing Boat Song
If you're still interested in my personal projects/life, keep reading. I won't blame you if you're busy listening to the song on repeat.
Onto my videos. If you don't know, I've been frequently uploading some playthrough videos on my channel. I started Pokemon Colosseum on the GameCube quite a few months ago and got back to it when I started using my channel again. I recently completed Ultimate Spider-Man on the PS2. (Donated by @mattbailey. Thanks, dude!!) And a few weeks ago I started my Alien Hominid playthrough. I'm only one part in so far and got distracted due to three factors;
1. I had family over for the entire weekend (My recording and editing time)
2. I have Animal Crossing and Monster Hunter
3. I am very lazy
I also put out a special one-off video biweekly. (I try to keep it on Wednesday if I can, to get people over humpday!) That includes jump cutting through a bit of the game and trying to be witty. I like to call these Onesies, just since I'll never revisit the game. I just milk it for all it's worth, then toss it in the bin. Here's my channel if you're interested! If you're not, that's cool too. Certain videos aren't for certain people. Just give it a shot, and if you don't like my stuff no worries!
And finally, RTX. I posted a journal a while back explaining why I was strapped for cash and regrettably asked for help. It was a success and I reached the amount I needed to fund my trip within a few hours! I was so incredibly happy, but still very ashamed of myself like a dog that shit the bed and pissed all over the entire house. So now I get to see all you guys in person!
I'm sure you've already heard, but we're actually having another Internet Box panel! Not sure why they want us back, but you can let us know you're going by clicking "I'm attending!" on this page;
Internet Box Panel
It'll be super exciting and fun and stuff. I've also been working on a custom Spider-Man costume and I might bring it to the convention hall and wear it while @SuburbanFire walks around with an Iron Man glove on being Tony Stark. That sounds like fun! I just have to figure out how to hide my D in the costume? Any tips, cosplayers? Now let's get away from my dick for a second.....
Here's a list of stuff we can possibly do together at RTX 2013! (Incoming massive ego)
1. We can take pictures and stuff.
2. I'll sign whatever you put in my face. (Dicks included depending on location)
3. I might set up a Monster Hunt, so bring your 3DS and Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate!
4. It's quite possible I'll be playing Animal Crossing while I'm there. Maybe I can invite some people over to my town, WHO KNOWS?! (A lot of people have been asking for this one, so let's do it)
5. You'll get a super happy Dylon-brand smile if you bring a Cooking with Dylon shirt! And a 'super-special-exact-same-as every-other-signature' signature!
6. Sing the Shingeki no Kyojin theme with you.
7. Touch butts and have fun!
I feel like I'm forgetting something, so I might come back and edit this journal a bit later. But thanks for putting up with me, and supporting me as much as you guys have been. You're all amazing. Even you, Chad.

Against my better judgement, I'm going to be an asshole and do this.
I want to go to RTX, but I can't afford it. I really can't. I tried to pay off my debt, but I'm not even half way through with it.
Now here comes the sad part; I'm going to start some kind of donation pool. This won't be mentioned on the Internet Box. This is just coming from me. It'll be promoted via my twitter, tumblr, etc, and you--if you want to help out.
This was supposed to be my last resort. My plans fell through and I couldn't get the money as quickly as I thought I could.
Anyway, I only want you to donate if you really want to see me at RTX. Don't feel like you have to because I'm on a podcast you listen to sometimes. Donate because you want to.
Here's the link to the campaign. I really hope I did everything right and it all goes swimmingly.
Get Dylon To RTX
If you could share this with people that would actually like to see me there, please share it with them.
Have a good day, everyone.
