Well on my first day of March I had the lovely morning experience of spending hours trying to find out where to vote. You see, the county I live in hasn't latched onto the internet age, and the locals don't seem clued in about anything. So there was nowhere to look it up, (internet sent me to the next flipping county and back), and everyone we asked in town sent us somewhere incorrect. It was like an inane scavenger hunt that had a time limit and very little payoff. Finally, the library was competent enough to know exactly where to send us. Turned out the polling place was within walking distance of the house. *facepalm*
So anyway, I finally managed to vote. I've seen the results for the state already and feeling increasingly distressed by the futility of it. But maybe that's just the frustration of the morning talking.
Then discovered I left my only pencil sharpener in Australia, so the sketching I've been doing the past couple days.is halted till tomorrow.
But on the other hand I was able to get my Celebi, courtesy of Nintendo Network. So its not all been frustration. Adorable, anime-eyed, time-traveling, winged little onion is now mine.
Soooo more updates. I am still looking forward to RTX, though I'm worried about cost of food and merch since there's still no news on the job front. I apply, but don't even get as far as being asked for an interview. I've even tried places to which I have social connections, but no good so far. Still "little-engine"ing my way through it.
Here's hoping the rest of the month gives me better luck than the first day did. Please, go out like a lamb...
(P.S.: 350 paper cranes out of 1000 done)
