    fall.jpg

I'm an officer and Blackhawk pilot in the US Army. Moving back to Fort Rucker, AL for a few months and then who knows from there.

Going to be a Guardian at RTX 2015 and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.

I was looking precisely for the blade droop and didn't see it. Hence thinking it was an A/L They do look identical from the outside. You do know I was in the very 1st M model course ever given at mother Rucker, right? I'm surprised you guys aren't using the HIRSS on the exhaust.

AT&T, offshore, and teaching primary builds a LOT of hours FAST.

Wow, That's amazing. The highest we have in our Battalion is our BN SP and he has just over 6,000.

That's not including CW4 Walt Jones though. He started flying in Vietnam and I have no clue how many hours he has now.

Yeah, I'm probably the only one. Was in the right place at the right time.

My last time in a hawk was about 2.5 yrs ago. A/L/M :-)
I was teaching the IP course at Warrior Hall for the last 4 yrs prior to returning to primary. When they fielded the 128D IFR GPS I also taught the course to every 60 IP on post.

I didn't know that, I was trying to remember when you stopped flying blackhawks earlier. All the latest Mikes are flying with the UES system. Its supposed to be better at suppresing our IR signature, but a lot of guys think it just adds drag and takes away torque.

Yes, i was out of work regardless of causality. So yes I lost all my leave. I have about 2 days left of sick time accumulated since my return to the flight line. Give me a call towards the end of the week. Sounds great. smiley1.gif

Not SAS 1 & 2, Trim, FPS and Boost. Just don't use the autopilot and let it fly for you.

Hope you guys all had a safe and fun 4th of July. Memorial day was a tragic one here at Fort Rucker and I'm glad to say we didn't have a repeat this weekend.

Had a GREAT weekend. Very little trouble in the company, with the exception of 2x Red Cross messages. Pretty amazing for a 4-day of this magnitude!

That depends. If you have RTSE (Rooster Teeth Site Extender) installed when you click reply it actually posts the reply to the original senders profile, not underneath the current comment. If you don't have RTSE, it only replies in the current location.

It's a lot to absorb. We tend to take the constant PCSing in stride, but that life-style certainly takes some "breaking in." Of course, if she doesn't look ahead of time, it's hard to make any sort of informed decision which duty station to aim for...

I'm at Bragg with the 82nd. But my brigade literally just got back home 2 weeks ago. I'm going nowhere...unless I somehow leave this brigade, which I wouldn't fight.

Yep, I wish I'd been in Afghanistan for this tour. But now I'm back and I'm achieving garrison momentum. That is to say, zero. I don't want to leave my family again so soon, but I sure wish I was over there killing those assholes instead of sitting on my ass. Not even sure I could pick up a deployment if I asked for one, what with dwell time and such.

Hey buddy. Sorry I haven't been on much. Working nights. Q course is easier as an officer. What have you heard? If you're gonna do it, do it early. You'll find it gets old quick.

Listen, as someone who has fucked up a perfectly good relationship because i was still hoping for something to "work out" with another girl, you gotta stop. Sadly the best advice that i know of is cold turkey. That can work. However, I suggest being upfront with her. Figure out where things stand, and make sure you and her are one the exact same boat. Then, hopefully, nothing bad will happen down the line.

Then again ive never been mistaken as casenova...

      Good luck

Understandable, especially when you get used to seeing what is really just a small piece of the whole.

I know it's only been a few days, but what do you think so far?

    • Bookworm

Doubtful, since he works in St. Louis. That'd be neat if you were, though!

    • thaicurry tacotacotaco

I'll be mainly in Olympia but I plan on spending pretty much all my free time in Seattle. I'll be visiting because I have family up there and because I just want a vacation away from New Mexico and because I'll be going on a week long cruise around Alaska and the port I'll be leaving and coming back to is Seattle. :o) I'll be up there from the 2nd to 24th of June :o)

So how long are you interning there if you don't mind me asking?

    • Bookworm

Haha, I was speaking in general terms of Seattle. I have an uncle who's an engineer for Boeing; if I wanted that desperately to see what they were working on I'd ask him to sneak a few pics.

Aww so it's the same way testing for a belt was done in TSD. I used to know korean but for the life of me i've been trying to think of any word I remember and I'm drawing a blank. smiley4.gif

I didn't start liking forms until I got to black belt when the forms started to become more complex. I can still remember some of the forms I did and I always remember the low belts watching the black belt team practice with their eyes and mouths wide open in awe. It was always fun to see people appreciating all the hard work the team put into to looking good. :oP But man oh man did I hate when we had to wear the all black uniforms when we performed. But the upside was looking damn spiffy :oP

The only tourneys I've ever been to other then nationals were hosted by TKD schools and there were always weapons. Have you been taught to use any weapons? I was required to learn two so I picked the staff or bo and the sword.
