Well I have to say overall, it was very impressive to watch. The animation keeps getting better and better every time. Also to see Team RWBY overcome their own personal obstacles, not just by themselves but with the aid of those closest to them i.e. their friends and family, well... not so much the latter in Weiss's case as her little brother and her pappy are a pair of precious petulant pugnacious prats! No disrespect to Howard Wang and Jason Douglas though, as they did a terrific job bringing them to life, so hats off to them (please don't kill me Lord Beerus). Also Raven Branwen tut tut tut!! She definitely does not win The Mother of the Year Award that's for sure, if Ms.Branwen was on Remnant's equivalent to The Jeremy Kyle Show, everyone and I mean EVERYONE would and should rip into her like a giant soggy roll of wet toilet paper (Yang especially)... not literally of course. Overall it was rather grueling but fun to watch.
The highlight of Volume 4 in my opinion, it would have to be Nora and Ren's backstory. I'm sure some of you will agree with me on that (hopefully one Samantha Ireland and one Neath Oum), although others maybe inclined to have opinions contrary to my own, in which case feel free to express them, I will not think any less of you if you choose to do so or not. But to see them come so far, even through the hardships they had faced early in their lives, it made me sad but it also made me happy. Let's hope they do get married, and that their lives will be considerably more peaceful and joyous! Also I wouldn't mind seeing Sun's parents as well, or maybe if someone could at least write a fanfic entitled "Meet the Wukongs" and more or less base it off Meet the Fockers that would be great! Insert Sun Emoji here Speaking of love Jaune looks rather lonesome, now I know this sounds weird to most of you (especially @Miles and @Kerry), but I have a confession to make... I'm a firm proponent to the ship entitled "Ocean Moonlight". Call me weird but I reckon either Jaune Vasilias or Neptune Arc has a nice ring to it. Insert Neptune Emoji here
Now onto my other predictions for Volume 5, I can deduce we will no doubt see the headmaster of Haven Academy, whom undoubtedly alludes to the cowardly lion, in the sense that he's doing whatever is necessary to clearly insure his own survival (if that's the case I don't know why on Earth Ozpin would want to place his trust in him at all). Also we have yet to see Sienna Khan, the current leader of the White Fang whom obviously alludes to Shere Khan, but whether Sienna is male or female remains to be seen, regardless High Leader Khan clearly has views contrary to that of Chieftain Ghira so it'll be rather intriguing to see those two felines knocking heads. Another crucial character we have also yet to see make an appearance is the ever elusive Spring Maiden, the fact that Raven wasn't forthcoming in telling her brother where she is, implies that she may have her under her wing, thus is abusing the maiden and the limitless power she possesses to get what she and her people want. Speaking of Maidens, I suppose it is somewhat uplifting to see that the terrifyingly sexy Cinder Fall is back on form at the end of Volume 4 after being Big Bossed by Ruby, I'm still holding out on a fool's hope that she'll turn against Salem and maybe have a Goku/Vegeta style relationship with the silver eyed simpleton. Falling Petals for the win yo! Insert Cinder Emoji here.
Also this maybe well off-topic, but I would so love to see Cinder and Frieza duke it out in a Death Battle. Even though Frieza would clearly win, I like Cinder more than Frieza, so naturally I would want her to well and truly kick his ass. Once again.... Insert Cinder Emoji here.
Finally there are few serious questions that reside in my mind, in particular what of the other two maidens Summer and Winter? No doubt they're residing within Vacuo and Atlas respectively (I fear Weiss may have to take a trip back home in order to insure the safety of The Winter Maiden, since no one else in Atlas has got the stones to carry out such a perilous task). Also if James Ironwood alludes to The Tin Woodsman, Professor Lionheart alludes to The Cowardly Lion and Qrow Branwen alludes to The Scarecrow, what of the Headmaster/Headmistress of Shade Academy?
Hopefully these questions will be answered in the next volume or in the near future, but for now I will content myself with the fact that the Rooster Teeth Animation department have outdone themselves yet again, in addition the cast and crew have been absolutely incredible. Love and praise to you all!!
