have we really done everything in extreme sports? i don't think anyone has kick flipped a surfboard yet. volcom had a contest a few years ago. some one got close and they gave him a prize but not sure if anyone actually did it even after the contest extension?
Blaine reminds me of billy batson / captain marvel. his comment about the dead mouse is something a 10 year old would say! yet that apollo 2000 body...
in The Stand there is a second wave of deaths after majority of the population was wiped out by disease. people who survived the disease but couldn't feed themselves or fell and couldn't get up... very interesting consideration.
once a package for the biomed lab was accidentally delivered to our IT department on a friday afternoon. when the package was discovered on monday morning... it turned out to be pig organs for dissections... and it was unrefrigerated and leaking fluids for the whole weekend...
needless to say, the IT dept was really pissed at us for the next couple of months...
personally, i have a weak sense of smell. when you spend 25% of your job in the urinalysis department- there are bad smells. and after a while, smells don't bother you anymore. i can't detect a lot of scents. once i was doing paper work outside of a building (a courtyard table) and this lady came running to me, "you shouldn't be here anymore, doesn't the smell bother you?!"
i was totally clueless.
she then says, "they are evacuating the area because of the pesticides, can't you smell it?"
i'm going to die like this one day...
chinese eat frogs! they eat everything! it's like our national past time- talking in loud angry voices and eating your small animals. :p
you must listen to Gregg Proops talk about Marco Polo! heard it on the nerdist podcast; he is hillariousssss! people didn't believe him when he got back from china!
in other news,
got hit by a car again. :'(
don't worry, my bicycle is ok (i think) except for the handle bars.
