*sigh* I hear that too often.

She's just a hardcore Republic trooper, and given they don't exactly give you the widest array of hairstyles that's what I went with that was short enough.

I prefer my comedy a bit more subtle then because that movie, and most of his movies, are just to painful to watch.

Miranda, yes, but Samara... I really liked her as a character and what her background was. It's close between her and Jack.

Tali dominates them all, however. XD

You never specified. You could have meant either how badass is the art or how badass is the event. To be honest the event is something only a nerd could love though so I'll give it two stars. That doesn't make me dull, it makes me not interested in the same things as you. You like comics and Glenn Beck, I like books renouncing god and Les Claypool.

Two chase scenes, one at the beginning when she first escapes out of the CIA to find her husband, this is her jumping on vechiles and the second is halfway through after the incident at the church, they are taking her in and she escapes again, the is the one with the police vehicle flying over the edge .

They were not forced to fight, the Americans got greedy and took more land making the French attack and the Brits had to fight back to protect us.

As for taxing, it's the Americans fault because Britain was broke and needed money plus taxes were rarely enforced because of the distance between the two countries. So pretty much it's like "Well you fucked us over but we couldn't be arsed to collect taxes" and then America fights back because this is unfair apparently.

Re-read my post. I said that I passed it and do my own research outside of school. I know it's bullshit, the problem is you don't.

    • LostNirvana

Why don't you read your history sir? On my NYS Regents on US History I got a 96. I even research in my spare time and know what's true or false about what they teach in school. France and Britian had a rivalry but the Colonies were part of the reason the French and Indian war happened. In fact American Colonists fought against the French in that war before the American Revolution.

    • LostNirvana

Re-read your American history and not the one in America. Our National history is off. The French Indian war was caused bu us colonials invading French and Indian territory and then when Britain raised the taxes just to be able to recover from fighting for us they had to raise the taxes. They practically never collected taxes because the colonies were so far away. The only reason we fought them was because we were greedy and didn't want to pay any taxes. As for the pursuit of liberty, They.Owned.Slaves. I don't care if they liked them or not, I know one of them went to France to vacation with their slave mistress. Slavery is still slavery and that's not freedom.

I'm Liberal and I think Obama is a fucking communist and I don't mean only listen to liberal news, I mean listen to liberal news with your conservative news I watch CNN, Fox, NBC and go to a few news sites to get filled in on the latest things. My opinions are well balanced and completely unbias because I can fill in the gaps between both kinds of news sources.

If you're going to start using lewd language or mentioning schmucks like Mr.Beck then I seen no point in arguing. I've watched him and he's an idiot, why don't you try liberal news?

The founding fathers were greedy slave-owning hypocrites that found it more profitable to rule over one country then to be a colony of another country. If you do decide you want to go by their quotes then what about "For the people, by the people"? This country is not run by or for the people nor has it been for the last 100 years. We're ran by the highest bidder by this invention called "lobbying" which is why the paper you write on isn't hemp and the car you drive/ride in isn't electric.

Go to the 1960s and 1970s and look at the riots that happened in America when we protested. We don't protest much anymore because of it. Meanwhile every July 1st Canadians go to Vancouver and smoke pot at the clawn of the capitol building to protest marijuana into legality. So yeah, Canada is way more free then America.

No I have not watched Glenn Beck. All I do know is that I just wish that they get people who know what their doing on the job and get that shit cleaned up.

      =)

    • Gatana

Obama is trying to clean up the mess that Bush DID admit to making, and I think it's a little much for him to handle. I'm not saying Bush was bad, he did do a lot of good things and I believe he was a smart man. All I can say is that there is so much slack that this country needs to pick up..and it's not fully the government's job to hold our hands.

America has a constitution that the people hold the decision to work our shit out. We're right now demanding the government to baby us with all this bail out crap..thats not what is going to get us back up on track. There are so many things that can help us out of our national debt and pay off things to help advert or at least clean up after disasters like the oil spill that it's not even funny.

Here in the borderlands where I live right now is a serious drug war going on between us and the cartels and drug lords in Mexico. If we legalized certain drugs, we'd be able to tax it, and the narcs won't make money. If marijuana was legalized (with regulations of course) we'd make an estimated 4.6 billion per year in taxes of it..give a few years we could help end our war debts.

Blah.. I do apologize for any ranting, but it's very stimulating to have a political conversation with someone for once. For that I wanna say thanks.

    • Gatana

It's not Obama's fault for the oil spill. I'm not attacking the oil companies but all I can say is that they need to shut the fuck up and just get to work cleaning up this mess. -sigh- What is this world coming to?

My pop tells me that if you want shit done right, you do it yourself..and apparently Louisiana is taking that to heart.

From the looks of it, he was only in one episode. I don't think he would use that as an example.

Though, I can't speak for certain as I really don't know where his other examples are from beside the KotOR, RepCom, and Mass Effect ones.

Find me a clip of Beck saying "generalized"

I can twist what he says to mean that God is, well, anything. God could be a goddamn rock in the desert, if you believe, and his message is true. But thats not what he means.

    • techskater

And I really wish Beck would say that - He says "God", with references the Bible. Which means that the God in question is, well, the Christian God.

    • techskater

      Yes, I watched yesterday.

Look, you're not winning a friend in me by saying "well, this book says this and so I'm going to believe it." Just because one author says something about a guy who died centuries ago doesn't mean that the other ten thousand authors are wrong. I guess I should come forth and say, I don't care about God. What I've read on the subject is that George Washington was a Deist. But you know what, if he wasn't, doesn't change my thoughts. If he was, as "all the omitive progressive scholars" have written, then whoop de do.

Besides, what's your point? Glenn Beck's point is that we need to become "God" centered as opposed to Government centered. Great in principle, but his defense is "thats the institution of this country - a moral and rightous people who believed in God".... This country was also founded with the institution of slavery. So I guess that argument can be made too.

I'm on your "side" on the political scale. I do watch Beck, but I don't find him to be the basis of all truth. There are others out there. Personally, the person I respect most of all is a man named Rob Williams. If I hadn't mentioned him before, you can read his weekly blog here. I've listened to his radio show for 8 years now, and the guy is crude, but right. It may be beneficial for you to listen to more than just Glenn Beck.

Rob Williams - i've found him to be in the same vein, but a different flavor. Also, he's a true libertarian. And, unlike Beck, a cool guy.

For the Christians who were elected to the government. Doesn't change what I just said.

      What's your point?

    • techskater

It's not hard to spend a few minutes each day, like when you lay down to go to bed, to think about what you believe.

The Founding Fathers NEVER supported God being a part of the government - They knew such a thing would be a conflict of interest.

    • techskater

Religion should not be taught in the classroom. Any religion, mind you, including the religion that I was taught in school - To worship the Earth and the elite class of the Government. It's all an idealogy, just like Christianity.

And I don't think that idealogies have any place in a 3rd grader's math class.

People don't treat the debate like it's over, they treat it like there's no solution - because there isn't. So I simply say we should pull it all out and leave all idealogies to the individuals to learn.

    • techskater

Take it from someone who does watch Glenn Beck. As a matter of fact, I'm trying to sell my second copy of Idiots cause I already have a copy.

If you payed attention, you'd know that the reason religion is, and always should be, up to the individual. And not up to the State. Thus, the first amendment.

    • techskater

You're using God in a different sense. "God" was more of a fluid word, an idea, not relating to God in a Christian sense.

Also, God was only "important" because most people, being Christian, would then trust in "God" than the Government. It's actually a dumb idea, but it was to keep people from looking towards the government. Like a carrot in front of a donkey.

    • techskater

Until you find out that many weren't religious; some, like Thomas Paine, were Atheists. Another example, George Washington was an areligious Deist. Christianity had no place in the formation of this country, just the occasional mention of "God", "God" being a generic reference to whatever faith someone would have.

Also, here's a test. You call yourself a Libertarian. Well, what are your stances on Gay marriage, Marijuana legalization, and Abortion.

    • techskater

      You have it backwards. Obviously.

    • techskater

      Then you don't know much.

He used to be a Republican. He's still a conservative. But he's not a Libertarian.

Libertarian = Social Liberal, Fiscal Conservative. Glenn Beck = Social and Fiscal Conservative.

And most Americans aren't really anything. They don't care one way or another.

    • techskater

      He's actually a Libertarian

      - Of Glenn Beck

I disagree. He's an Independent, of the Republican persuasion.

He's a traditionalist Conservative. He's just anti party. Doesn't make him a Libertarian.

I was using Hunter S. Thompson as an example of an addict who did it because it was illegal. If you can't have it you want it. As for the Ice Age thing, well you missed what I was saying. Naturally it should take another couple of thousand years for another ice age, we're making it come unnaturally fast. Plus that 'Life isn't fare, move on' thing wasn't cool. There are people wrongly accused of things that lose rights then never get them back. The system is corrupt and fucked up and it needs to be fixed with radicals. We need more George Washingtons to grow Hemp and fight the Government with a little more then words.

    • LostNirvana

I believe any restrictions made in the 20th century were a mistake. While morphine was heavily addicting in the past Pot and Mescaline were casual drugs like Alcohol and no one became addicted or dependent on them. After being restricted people couldn't get enough Mescaline, one example of these people would be Hunter S. Thompson and on top of that people would smoke themselves retarded.

As for the Global warming thing I totally agree with you, it's global cooling. All the scientists who arn't being paid off to say Global Warming is real is saying that the world is going to cool. After enough of the ice caps melt the flow of the oceans is going to slow down and eventually stop. Now the warm water from the equator isn't going to reach the cool waters in the north or south causing them to freeze over and eventually that will lead to another ice age.

What about people who were arrested for unjust reasons or bullshit laws? I think Tax Evaders and Stoners should be allowed to vote. I also think pot should be legal and if you disagree then you probably believe the propaganda spread about it.
