*Sigh* You really are an immature twat. The discussion has been dead for at least a week, why bring it back up? Also if you find yourself so correct why block me so I cannot respond? Grow up buddy, your perception is not always reality.

Although I have to give you credit, you actually have legit comments to make unlike Chi who just uses memes then gets overwhelmed by his lack of intelligent retort and basically blocks his ears and goes "la la la la I can't hear you"

Go fuck yourself, pal. I just got tired of arguing with a fucking brickwall.

Within the context of gang rape a reference to bandana wearing ganja smoking gang members was going to invariably draw parallels to the bloods and Crips, who are some of the most notorious rapists in the USA. The Bloods and Crips have all Black membership thus within the context of the conversation you made a comment that in context, clearly unintentionally, had racial implications.

This. Right here. If you don't understand this, then you are truly a lost cause, kid.

I had already referenced the dolphin propensity for gang rape in the thread.

It has racial implications because the most famous bandana wearing, weed smoking, gangs with a gang-rape entry requirement are all black or all hispanic gangs. I fail to see how that could possibly be more clear.

If you had said "Dolphins covered in pesudo-nordic tattoos and snorting coke" then yes I would have made that connection.

I don't, I simply disagreed that your statement had not had racial implications, which it did.

As I said it's a cultural thing. Most intercity schools in America specifically ban bringing colored bandanas onto school grounds in order to avoid open gang warfare and territory disputes. There are parts of LA where you will quite literally be shot and killed for having the wrong color bandana on your person.

Ironically enough not mentioning the color doesn't really accomplish much as the two most prominent gangs, the Bloods and Crips, are both have exclusive Blacks only membership, they are also very dominant organizations in the American cultures for both ganja and rap music. They are also responsible for initiation rituals essentially requiring the rape of both a white woman and the girlfriend of someone in an opposing gang, though murdering someone from a rival gang will often suffice.

The Bloods and Crips are Black and the Latin Kings are hispanic, this is not racism this is fact. The Bloods, Crips, and Latin Kings make use of strategically placed bandanas to indicate their own gang affiliations. Within American gang culture the predominant uniform of primarily or exclusively white gang members simply do not make use of colored bandanas in the same manner, and frankly the prominent tattoos associated with the Aryan brotherhood effectively make the use of such a uniform a moot point.

You made a comment about gang culture that you were clearly unaware had racial implications within American gang culture. It simply does have those implications m8, there's no way around it. Had you said something about people sitting in a circle, smoking pot, wearing pointed white hoods I would have made different assumptions about the ethnic group in question.

      God you're an idiot.

      Racism =/= Racist

You can make a fucking racist comment without actually being a goddamn racist. That's what we've been talking about the entire time. Fucking Christ.

Chi pointed accused you of racisim, not I.

I pointed out that in the United States that the sort of gang violence who wear colored bandana's to indicate their gang status were primarily Black or Latino.

You responded by accusing me of being a racist myself for connecting the Bloods and Cryps with black people.

Actually read posts next time, don't just skim them for key phrases m8.

I'm taking out from the Dolphin thread because we were getting OT.

You seem to have missed the point entirely, either by design or ignorance I cannot say, but the end result is that you're spouting the same narrow perspective that you were before. Yelling retard and pointing is not the same as making a coherent argument.

Perhaps it doesn't have the same cultural implications in Australia but in the United States gang colored bandanas are associated with Bloods, Cryps, and Latin Kings. Making jokes to Americans about bunch of gang members in colored Bandanas in smoking circles is going to result in us associating it as a reference to gang violence in Los Angeles and New York. There are going to be assumptions made.

Has my own experience colored my opinion of the Latin Kings? Probably, but I think you'll find very few people who will accuse me of racism for associating gang colors, rape, and murder with a street gang.

Look at it this way: even if the term "nigger" isn't a common term down under, if you happened to visit a bar with a lot of African-American tourists in Sydney persay, you sure as shit would think twice about using it there, now wouldn't you?

Just because you don't associate something with racism does not mean everyone else has the same culture as you do, bub.

I do agree it was stupid, but I have seen bits of some of the more recent movies and vote that the older stuff was better.

I do understand that neg mods are not something to worry about, but one thing to tell you, I'm autistic..sometimes I can forget that. It's a little embarassing at times, but thats how I am.

No, I'm just pissed because it's stupid to neg mod someone for no reason. To say the least I don't watch many movies..but when I get a chance to, I am very picky.
