So last weekend I finally finished Ellen Page Simulator and I gotta say I really enjoyed it. I've never played a Quanticdream game before so it was a whole new experience for me that I found refreshing after my library full of shooters. With the actors they wouldn't shut up about I was worried that they spent all their money on the talent and advertising but I was pleased to discover this wasn't so and that their decision really payed off and I actually gave a damn about the characters. The game initially jumps you around through random parts of Jodie's life which at first is a little jarring and scattered, there is a reason for it that became clear at the end of the game, which kinda turned me off but when the pieces start to fall into place I couldn't stop myself from playing. I think it took me 10+ hours to finish and that's with a bit of exploring the maps. I was happy with the ending I got and am really interested to see just how much things can vary when played again. One of my biggest issues with the game is that at some points your options on how to proceed with Aiden seem a bit lacking in that I though of a couple other ways of going about a situation only to find out that I had the one linear option available. As this made me sad it was not a deal breaker and I would have to say that I in no way regret pre-ordering this game. On the whole Willem Dafoe Simulator 2013 is a solid game and I would say you should give it a go, especially if you liked Heavy Rain. Did I mention WILLEM DAFOE!
