It seems that this is in fact the first journal entry in a long time.

Been a Rooster Teeth member for almost 5 years and hadn't ever really gotten into the community side of things. I always seemed to just watch the content and leave it at that, but the people around here seem pretty good so I will give it a shot at being a community player.

Not hugely sure what else to say. If any other members were to see this post then perhaps you could reccomend some things on the site I can get up to besides my usual content browsing.

Today for us Australian Victorians it was one of the hottest days ever on record!!
And will sadly be remembered for many years to come as the days a wild fire killed many people..
It was 46 degrees celsius which is 115 degrees fahrenheit!!
Yesterday was 41 degrees celsius and tommorow will be too!!
It's a terrible heat wave because many animals are dying of heat exhaustion and elderly people and infants are ending up in hospital.

Moving away from the morbid side of the heat:
I've been going to a beach everyday to cool down as best I can.
An ocean inlet leading to a large river system is close to my house so I've been driving down with a few friends every few days. An area we like to go to is right next to a large bridge and an island which emerges when the tides go out. It makes for an enjoyable ever changing environment.
My sister and I were swimming earlier today when suddenly a MASSIVE grey creature swam between us. My sister, who was a few months pregnant, had litterally just submerged under the water and didnt see it coming... It swam centimetres from her face and when she came up I yelled "LOOK BEHIND YOU!" Which was right when a dolphin's fin breaches the surface.
At the time we didn't know it was a dolphin, so needless to say we panicked and swam away.
Once realising it wasn't a shark we still kept our distance. This was the first encounter I had ever had with a wild dolphin so I wasn't entirely sure what to expect.
The rest of the day is minor details compared to this.

Im not to sure what to say..

First ever Journal Entry on Rooster Teeth

Ive been a keen watcher of Red vs Blue for many years now and decided I would sign up to this fun looking site. Im not entirely sure of how everything works around here as all I ever really came here for was to watch RvB and other RT made shorts, but hopefully I will learn.

  • About Me

Im currently 19 years old and am an aspiring filmmaker, residing in Australia.
Ive completed one year in University studying film analysis and filmmaking.
Honestly film school didnt feel like the thing for me, not because I lost my passion but because the course just didnt seem worth the incredibly large sum of money it costs.
The teachers didnt seem well educated enough to be teaching people about making movies.
In my second trimester I met a fellow Rooster Teeth fan and we both agreed that we would prefer to work in a company like Rooster Teeth over Hollywood companies any day.
