I had quite an interesting last few weeks. Stephen and I got engaged on the 12th.. whoopee!
I had a great fourth - Saw the UFC fight at a brewery and watched the American Psycho (Names Stephan) beat the crap outta somebody and it was actually kind of exhilirating..hehe.
I lit off some fireworks at the Indian Reservation, went to see A Team for the second time (kick @ss) with my little brother who is visiting from Job Corps..and I went to a Mariner's game. The Mariner's lost of course but they did pretty well in the beginning..I actually really got into it and was rooting for Cordero to pitch that sh*t straight!! Tee hee!
I did get pooped on though..by a stupid sea gull. That ruined the moment but I got over it quickly. Thank bob the guy in front of me had a bunch of napkins! Yeesh.
I'm going to keep going until I catch a foul! Heck yes!
Well, I'm basically having a grand ol' time with my Fiance (Ooh that's fun to say!) and life is pretty sweet..minus the bills. Ugh. What are you gonna do though? Okay - just giving ya'll a quick update..later baters!

So, I turned 23. Another year closer to thirty...eep!
My birthday wasn't terribly exciting..as far as birthdays go. I managed to talk my mother into buying me a new mattress which I desperately wanted, and an oreo ice cream cake - drool.
My dad, whom I never speak to, sent me a birthday card with $100 bucks in it, which I used to purchase a white, star wars edition psp! Which is awesome, but when I tried calling him to thank him he refused to answer.... all 7 times. So I gave up on that and figured I will just enjoy it.
I met up with Deborah, a sweet girl from work, the day before my b-day to hang out in Seattle. We walked around Pike Place Market, rode a carousel (first time ever for her - she grew up in Figi), ate at Anthony's, and I got some Chukar Cherries. Which are the most amazing chocolate covered cherries you'll ever eat! (Even when stale..like mine were hah)
Oh yeah - one of my coworkers was sweet enough to surprise me by decorating my desk with Happy Birthday stuff - all pink and sparkly because she knew it would annoy me :P
In other news, my bunny boy and I have officially been together for over a year now!! Rahoo! (I know I know, alert the media, right?)
He got me a set of really pretty promise rings, which I will be postin a picture of just for shits and giggles. Hopefully more giggles, less shits but a girl can't ask for TOO much, now can she? ;0)
And even more exciting news for you (it just keep getting better and better, doesn't it?) I have moved out of my tiny lil place in Mill Creek, and moved into a nice big place right up the road from work. I now have a walk in closet and my own master bath...god it's good to be slightly well off. Thanks to Stephen's new job at Microsoft, I can actually afford a tiny amount of luxury.
Don't know if I had already mentioned this...but I also got a new car. Miss my firebird though!! ~le sigh~
Okay, I think I'll end my boasting here, before I bore any of you to tears, or even better, death!! Muahaha...cuz...I'm not a murderer. (The one armed man is)

So life without internet CAN get boring sometimes. Thank gawd for the rest of the world, eh? I'm using my mother's compooter right now :0) She is letting me pay bills. How wunderbar.
Anywho, I have had a pretty good last few weeks. Steph and I are almost at our 11 month mark. My mom and her beau, Steph and I went bowling a few nights ago and it was pretty fun. They all made fun of me (goodnaturedly) because I apparently bowl like Kramer. By that I mean everytime I throw the ball I slide on my feet a few inches. They video taped me and I have to admit it looks pretty goofy hehe.
Ah well - it's all about having fun! I think that's what we're doing tomorrow for Superbowl Sunday, since games are only going to be $0.44 each! Rahoo!
I also got my quarterly bonus from work - $530 this time, and my tax return, which was $1.264. It's nice to have a tidbit of extra moolah in the bank - even if for only a short time.
Welp...not much else to say at the moment- though I'm sure I'm missing a lot! Oh yeah - Zombieland RULES!

So life is still going on...as Joe Dirt says - you gotta keep on keeping on! :0 P
Stephen and I have been together for over 9 months now. This is his longest, and most intimate/serious relationship, but I have had three long term relationships before him. As hard as it may be to believe though, we both feel like this one is the best, and we have talked about our future together - as old wrinkly farts.
I'm sure I would be a hot old wrinkly person (fo sho), but I still can't imagine it. Usually when I see older people, it makes me feel sad to imagine myself like that. Barely able to do most things on my own...would it really be worth it to hang on for that long? I guess the upside would be to spoil your grandkids. And finally have enough money to buy the frickin car you've wanted all your life!
I guess the scariest part for me would be, being forgotten. I want my life to have made a good difference in the world, you know? What was the point of everything I have gone through, if my memory is lost only a generation after I die? So...I have decided that I'm going to do something really amazing. For serious...just not one hundred percent on what that is yet. Perhaps I'll be a famous rockstar (I've got the voice for it) and I'll donate all my money to Humane Societies and Wildlife shelters. Maybe one day I'll be able to build my own, and help save thousands of animals lives.
Or MAYBE I'll become first woman president (haha...yeah..rockstar was more likely). Who knows. My question to any and all of you taking the time out of your busy lives today to read this, is what are YOU going to do?
Peace, love, and bulletproof marshmallows from Snowflake and Snappy! (we have silly pet names for each other...get over it!)

Hey to all those rvb fans of mine..I haven't been on in a while. Mostly because my internet and cable were shut off about three months ago and we just haven't had the money to get it reconnected... so sadly no angry rvb blogging for me! :0 P
Still having job troubles with my guy due to the economy. It's seriously amazing how much freaking bad luck we have had in the last 8 months and yet still we are together. It's like life is trying to throw some wicked curve balls, and we just keep "walking".
I might even lose my job in about a month, since I took a week off work for having the flu. (Which kind, I'm not sure - never checked) But since my FMLA will be denied on the 23rd because my doctor is a horrible piece of work, I will end up with a VERY bad attendance record. If I am so much as five minutes late in the next four months..I'm screwed. Le sigh... will it never end?
On the bright side..Christmas is coming up soon..still working on getting presents for everyone :0 )
I will be going to the Nutcracker..and I'm planning on seeing Avatar in IMAX which I'm sure will blow my mind! It looks absolutely stunning.
I can only hope that nothing will go so horribly wrong to where I can't even do that.
Oh, and I found this virtual donation/charity website, where I have donated a few of my precious dollars to some people who really need it here and there. In the spirit of giving, some of you may want to check it out and help someone in need. ;0)

So this week I am spending another long, drawn out lonely 7 days at B's house, this lady that I dog sit for. It's a good gig as it brings in an extra 200 - 400 dollars each month. However, this time, she not only has the four little dogs she wants me to care for, ooooh no. This week, I've been basically responsible for the two international students she is homing for the next year.
Of course, she didn't really bother to tell me just how much responsibility I'd have over them until the day she left me with them. Now don't get me wrong, they're nice boys. But these are two 17 year old foreign males that have trouble speaking English, and need help with homework, getting rides to the store and the gym, making sure they have dinner every night - and it's imperative that I stay overnight, as they are minors and can't be left alone at home overnight. Ugh!
Next time, I'm going to confront her about the fact that I'm a dog sitter - not a baby sitter! I like kids - but I don't like having so much responsibility over them - especially not ones that are only 5 years younger than I, and I have no clue how to entertain them.
But not to worry..I have found ways to relax and have fun between my dog/kid sitting escapades. During lunch..I drove all the way back to my apartment - speeding like a bat out of hell - so I could surprise my lover with some..uh... love <3 Oh and he was surprised alright, I practically tackled him! Hehe.
I've also managed to take a few "brain breaks" during work to mingle and chat with some girly friends of mine, which is always refreshing. It reminds me I still have stuff to look forward to.
Anywho.. the week is coming to a close..and I'm finally off work.. but I still have two more days of kiddogsitting (hehe..I made up a word!) left, and then on Sunday I'm going to be spending at least 6 hours in a car, driving to Portland and back, to meet my boyfriend's family and belatedly celebrate his birthday (Though we already celebrated it earlier, as you may have read in a previous journal).
Busy busy busy!

So my loverly boyfriend of mine finally turned 12.. I mean uh.. 22 today :0P
I woke him up this morning with a surprise breakfast of pancakes. The fact that the house was not burned down in itself was a miracle. I made him a ceramic plate with the emblem from one of his favorite anime shows on it, and gave him a card with a bit of my famous poetry.
I think he made out pretty well, don't you??
Well..after that he had to go straight to his new job which kinda sucks..but at least he got a proper Birthday morning before he left :0 )
However - I still owe him 18 more birthday spanks...
He won't get away from me muahahahahaha!!
Have a nice day everyone!
I love to laugh and goof around. I love to be with people who are easy to joke around with and talk to about anything and everything.
I am very compassionate as any one who comes to know me will find out quickly enough....I love nature (I'm a pantheist - google it!) I am fascinated by and love the Earth and I especially <3 animals. (And yes, I like to eat them too. Can't help it. Bacon is too tasty)
I don't mind a debate or two once in a while but please don't cram your beliefs down my esophagus!!
Rock 4 Lyph!! ;0 P
