      I'm back. Kind-of.

For those of you that check on me from time to time. I am back on here for the time being. Sort of.

I've finally bought all the remastered DVDs and the Recollection set and have caught up with Red vs. Blue, like I've been needing to do. So now for the first time I'm actually able to watch the new episodes as they come out.

So while I may not be making that many comments on things or going to the forum that often, I am back in the sense that I'm watching the videos and trying to keep up. Later.

      Uhh....

It's amazing to me that I haven't been active on this site for months now, only signing on every once in awhile but not doing anything. And I still am getting friend requests and messages from people.

Of course I've never really been active on this site. At least not in the social part of it. I used to browse the forums but rarely ever talked to anyone. I don't know why I stopped. I just kind of got bored doing the same thing all the time.

So. I'm not sure how active I'm going to be on here. Probably not much more than I have been. Meaning I'm not leaving for good. But I probably won't be on that much. I will sign on every once in awhile, just to check up on things.

      Later.

      The Last Few Weeks.

So much has happened in the last few weeks, more like the last month I guess. Things like Bioshock, Deathproof, My Birthday, The Orange Box, and a little thing called Halo 3.

First of all, one half of the Rodriguez/Tarantino Grindhouse double feature (Deathproof) was released on DVD, on September 18 . I saw the movies in theaters and loved both of them, and while I was mad at first because of the split DVD release, now I'm okay with it. I bought Deathproof, the three disc/metal case Best Buy DVD, and will definitely buy Planet Terror when it comes out next week. And I will most likely buy any special edition with both films that they may release in the future, although I have a bootleg of the double feature already. I haven’t had much time to watch the special features yet, but I've watched the long cut of the movie twice now and I love both versions. If you haven’t seen this movie you really should, especially if you like cars and girls.

The Xbox 360 game, Bioshock, also came out recently. I've been looking at this game for a while and really want it, but with my money so tight and Halo 3 on the way, I couldn’t buy it and I still don’t have it. I know, having no money sucks.

My birthday was this last weekend, October 6th, for you that didn’t know. I am now 17, and can buy Mature rated games and R rated movies by myself, hooray for me. For my birthday me and three of my friends went to Orlando and stayed in a suite for the weekend. On Sunday night, two of my other friends came up and we all went to Halloween Horror Nights. It was pretty good, not as good as last year though. The lines were long for three of the houses that I really wanted to go in; Freddy's, Jason's, and Jack's. The Bill and Ted show was really funny though and the Freak show was pretty cool. I hope it's not as crowded next year.

The Orange Box came out this last week. This is another game (games?) that I have been looking forward to. But once again, I have no money to buy it.

Okay, I know these dates are not in order but I wanted to save the best for last. The Naked Brothers Band CD came out last week. Wait, what am I saying? Halo 3. I've had it preordered since I picked up my copy of Gears of War. And on September 25, I picked up my Legendary edition from EBGames and finally got my chance to finish the fight. My brother and I played and beat it on Normal in six and a half hours, and the other day we beat it on Legendary to see the special cinematic. I was very pleased with the game, I loved all of the references to the other two games and am happy with the way it ended. I didn’t get a chance to try out the beta, but multiplayer is very good, like always. And I am in love with the Forge and Theater modes. Amazing game, that's all I can really say.

And just when you thought it was over; next week Planet Terror comes out on DVD, Transformers comes out on DVD, and at the end of the month Guitar Hero III. But you guys already knew that didn’t you?

So anyway, thanks for listening to my rambling. Later.

      School.

Well, school starts on Monday. Open house was yesterday and I got my schedule. My classes are: AP Art History, Chemistry I Honors, AP American History, Spanish, Algebra II Honors, and English III Honors. I know....it's not going to be a fun year. Plus I still have a book to read and a report to write about it that is due on Monday in my American History class. I just finished my other report for that class two days ago, a report on Ben Franklin.

The good thing about going back to school is that I'll get to see my friends that I haven't seen in a while. I saw a few at open house yesterday as well as some of my teachers from last year. I'm not ready for homework yet though. Oh well, I guess it has to be done. Later.

      The Deathly Hallows.

Well, I just finished the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series, The Deathly Hallows, at 2:30AM. I bought it on Saturday and when I got home I was only gonna read the first chapter, but that turned into the first 110 pages. So I got up this (Sunday) morning and have done nothing but read all day.

My thoughts....it was very good. I think it ended the series very well. Full of twists and shocks throughout the whole book. If you havent read it yet or any of the Harry Potter books for that matter, you need to. Go Now!

To those of you who have read this series and would like to discuss it with me, please do so in a private message. That way we can avoid those nasty spoilers. Your thoughts?

      Beach Trip.

Well, I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow. And won't be able to get on a computer for the time I am there. So I won't be on the site for the next 3 to 5 days. Talk to you when I get back. Later.

      Fourth of July.

Hey Everybody. How the heck are you. There were some pretty good things and some kind of bad things that happened to me this Fourth of July.

To begin with the Sci-Fi channel was having their annual Twilight Zone marathon, which is always good. The only problem was that normally it's a three day marathon and this year it was only a two day marathon. I didn't watch a whole lot of it, like last year, but I did catch some of my favorites: Nightmare at 20,000 Feet, Five Characters in Search of an Exit, and Where is Everbody? Anyone else watch it?

For the Fourth itself my family and I went to Anna Maria Island. Some of our friends are renting a place over there so we had lunch with them and hung out around their place for most of the day. Then around 8:30 we went out to the beach and people started shooting of fireworks, the simple ones like you find at Wal-Mart as well as the awesome illegal ones. I spent the time listening to my techno/electro/dance music on my ipod, which made the whole thing a lot cooler.

And the last of the good/bad news is that the Directv channel, Chiller, was having a marathon of Twin Peaks. I've never watched it before, but have wanted to start so this was the perfect opportunity, because they were starting with the pilot and playing them in order. The problem was that since we were going to the beach I only got to watch about half of the pilot before we left this morning. Oh Well.

So how was everyone else's Fourths?

      This Week in Review.

The last week has been really good. First of all Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End came out and I saw it on Friday, May, 25. Loved it! Then on Sunday, the 27th my friend Matt (ForkMeMan) and I went to Cypress Gardens and saw Weird Al in concert. Amazing Show! "Everyone's got a cell phone, come on, let's get real." lol.

Then last Friday, the 1st. Me, Matt, and my friend Nathan (JumpMan64) went to MGM to Star Wars weekends. Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Jay Laga'aia (Capt. Typho), and Bonnie Piesse (Beru) were there. It was hot and crowded, then the rain started. But all in all it was a fun day.

Saturday and Sunday was the State Bowling Tournament. It was in Orlando at the Boardwalk Bowl. So Saturday morning we had to get up and bowl at 7 o'clock, going on about 4 hours of sleep. I didnt do too good. Then in the afternoon I went and saw Pirates 3 again. Still loved it! On Sunday we bowled our team event starting at 3:30, and I still didnt do to good. Oh well.

Oh and the most important thing about the last week was that I saw two guys with RVB shirts. One I saw at Cypress Gardens and I asked him if he had an account, he said no and that he had only just started to really get in to the series. The other guy I saw at MGM and he did have an account and said that he had been a fan since the third episode. He told me his account name, but I honestly cannot remember what he told me, it was Frank something? I told him what my name was so maybe he'll find me on here.

So anyway thats this week in review, and also my first journal entry. I dont know why I've never written one before, to lazy I guess. Later.

      The Froman...?

in Forums > The Froman...? | Follow this topic

Anyone who owns the DVD and has listened to the commentary will know what Im talking about.

On the Season 3 commentary, correct me if Im wrong but, Burnie says that he originally had the idea that when the characters go to Camp Froman in Zanzibar that there would be a little guy that just says "I am the Froman." Then they would just ignore him for the rest of the time they were up there. But the other guys thought it was a stupid idea.

I actually think it would have been funny to have the Froman up there. So, what do you think, would it have been funny to have a little guy up on Camp Froman? And what do you think he would have looked like? (drawings and pictures if necessary)
I personally think he would have looked something like Yoda or Gollum. Your thoughts?
