Thanks to my friend Jason for submitting "Modesty Flap" to On the Spot and getting my name on the show!

This isn't a review, just some things that I like and don't like about the game.

      • Simple but fun combat.
      • Level progression.
      • Co-op.
      • Looks just like the show.
      • The fact that RT made a freaking game.

      • Not a lot of video options (game runs pretty bad on my PC).
      • Low frame rate.
      • Environments are bland.

All-in-all I've enjoyed what I've played of RWBY: Grimm Eclipse and it's a great first attempt at a game, I just wish I could get more than 15 fps when I play it.

    • Little update

So I completed my digital animation course and for the past four months since then I've been working at a little company that makes apps. I'm the character animator for one of their projects, a game that they are developing for hospitals. Tomorrow is my last day with them (August 28) but they'll still have work for me down the road, which is good. In Sept. I'm going back to school to take another program, Game Design. More specifically, 3D Modeling & Texturing, and because I specialized in 3D animation last time I can completely skip the first year since I already know the basics of Maya (a program used to model and animate 3D objects).

Other than that not much has happened, not much goes on in my life lol. Oh, off topic, kinda, I'm really excited for the Mad Max game (as evident of my cover picture at this time) and Metal Gear V!

...Yeah, I got nothing else right now, lol.

I'm really digging the new site but some playlists would be nice incase we want to binge-watch shows. It's a definite upgrade though.

So it's been almost a year since I've posted anything on this account. It's not because I don't like you guys on here but because of college mostly. Plus I just can't keep up with all the different social media sites, I'm old now (just turned 25 a few days ago).

But I'm not writing this journal to let you know what I've been up to. I'm writing this journal because of recent events that have devastated our little RT family. I am of course talking about the passing of Monty Oum. As I'm watching the live podcast and listening to Burnie, Matt, Gus and Grey recount their stories of Monty I felt compelled to write Something.

I never knew Monty, never met him, but I did love his work. The first time I saw his work was when I first saw Haloid, though it would take me years to find out Monty made it. The models looked rough but the choreographed fight scenes blew me away. His work has this special flow. Every action has a reaction, a purpose, momentum. It's something you would think would be easy to do but it is actually a very hard thing for animators to master and Monty had it mastered.

Now, as I mentioned earlier, I've never met Monty but that hasn't stopped him from influencing my life. Monty is actually one of the reasons why I decided to choose animation as my career path. For years after high school I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and it was after seeing Monty's work during RVB that I started getting some sort of idea of what I wanted to do with my life. And would you look at me now, I'm a senior that's about to graduate in a few months.

So yeah, that's all I've got for now. I just wanted to share how Monty indirectly shaped my life. And who knows, maybe one day you'll see my name among the other great RT animators.

      Rest in peace Monty.

I've had the standard AX720 headset (not the Pro or +) for a few years now and it's a decent headset except for the mic (which never worked) and the little problem with the amp. During the summer (and this has happened every summer since I've had it) when it gets really hot outside the amp will shut off and won't turn on for a few hours or until it cools off outside. Do any of you have this issue with yours?

Happy 11th anniversary Rooster Teeth! You lovable idiots!

Now, GTFO, I got shit to do. And by 'shit' I mean play inFAMOUS Second Son and procrastinate instead of doing my animation assignments. smiley0.gif

I've just been at college taking Digital Animation, which has been going good (aside from one of my teachers who couldn't set a VCR clock, let alone teach us Photoshop etc...) and has made me super busy. Last semester we focused on 2D animation, for which I have a whole new appreciation for, and this semester we'll be focusing on 3D animation.

As for Christmas, I had a really good one. Lots of food, presents, people, and sleep ( Oh god I've missed sleep). I got a bunch of sweet presents this year that include a Limited Edition Zelda Wii U with Wind Waker HD, a Tower Of Pimps hoodie with RT Slap Bands & T-shirt, and a Coke Mini Fridge (was not expecting that one lol). Plus $200 from various family members.

So, how was your guy's Christmas?

P.S. My Let's Play channel has been put on hiatus till I have time (or until I feel like making more videos :P).
