just watched the Spider-Man trailer.  I feel like his appearance in Civil War was all the trailer that I needed to convince me to see this movie. That being said, I was actually a little disappointed in this trailer.

Still going to stay excited about the movie and I'm definitely going to be there on day one, but I don't think I'll be watching anymore of the marketing materials. What did you guys think?

Hey guys, it looks like a few of the non-RT projects I worked on in the last 12 months are coming out at the same time at the end of the year. I don't really talk much about these projects while I working on them but I wanted to let you know about them in case you can't get enough of me. And really, who could possibly get enough of me? Besides Ashley. And everyone in my family. And Gus. Besides them.

      Slash: The Movie
I was asked to be in this film which is a coming of age story set against the culture of slash fan fiction. It's getting great reviews and is the only thing I have ever been in that the Village Voice reviewed positively. That's progress. It opens in theaters this week. I am going to be at the Alamo Drafthouse screenings of the film this Saturday night. Come out and see me if you are in Austin!

      Tickets: https://drafthouse.com/austin/show/slash

      12 Deadly Days
I am in a Blumhouse (Purge, Paranormal Activity) horror anthology that airs for 12 days leading up to Christmas. Each episode is a standalone horror short with a running theme. This was fun to do since I had never done horror before and Blumhouse has made some of the modern horror classics. I am one of the leads in the second episode.

      ????
So there's a movie I worked on earlier this year, which I described on the podcast as one of the craziest experiences that I have ever had. Unfortunately, it's a big studio movie and it's not entirely clear what I can or can't say about my involvement even though it's about to come out. But once it's all clear for me to talk about, then I will discuss it. I have a sneaking suspicion that I haven't been told how to promote because I didn't make the final cut of the movie, but the experience and the people I worked alongside made it more than worth it. I am going to the cast & crew screening next week, so at the very least you will know what it is then. No, it's not Rogue One.

I have some other stuff I have done that is still not out. These things take a while. Everything listed here was something I shot 6-12 months ago at this point. I do want to say that a big reason I get cast in these productions (besides my stunning looks and talent) is because of all the support you all give me in my RT work. I am very grateful for that.

The vlog today featured this dude:

You should go check out his channel and say hi in the comments. Every video he posts is insane.

He has so many flight hours in a helicopter, it's like an extension of his body. Wait until you see the stuff he does in the video linked above. I didn't even know some of that was possible. Check out the move at 3:05. Crazy.

No journal yesterday and sorry for the lousy title for this. I am a little creatively spent at this point. I have been writing like mad on Lazer Team sequel this week. Wrapping up this first draft very soon. It's great to get back to writing again. The company has been really great about allowing our writers the time they need to focus on scripts -- and I am definitely benefiting from that.

Heading to Vancouver for VIFF for a few days. Writing is awesome, but does not make for very interesting vlogs.

Anyone in Vancouver coming to the film festival? I don't have time to organize a meet-up, but if someone local wants to suggest a place Monday night and be able to organize it, I would definitely show up.

We had some fun on the podcast this week and we didn't want to tip off the viewers too early. I realize that some of you may have missed the big reveal live but there's no way to make it a big reveal if we don't keep the lid on it to some degree.

Also, thanks for all the compliments for the jokes I told on the podcast. Literally my favorite jokes. Although I don't think many people get the first one.

@burnie - we had a solid debate about climate change going on in the Oxford Comma Cafe here in the forums if you wanted to see some of the topics. It mostly starts on page 194, but it's a flowing forum with multiple discussions so look for the longest posts.

Surprised nobody else said it yet. Guess everything's moved to other social media or something. Hope everyone's been saying it somewhere.

Sorry you got a cut finger for your birthday though, that's a bitch.

Just curious - Do you have a Steam at all? Typically on someone's Birthday I go and look to see what they have on their wishlist, but yeah you don't have a steamname listed on your profile and stuff.

      Party hard dude.

Hey Burnie! There's two showings for Lazer Team near me on the 27th, but they're both sold out (I had to wait till paid to buy my ticket). Is there anyway to get another ticket or something? Just wondering if you might have any idea on what to do here. I really want to go see it.

Hey Burnie, what are the chances of some songs from Jeff Williams and Trocadero becoming DLC in Rock Band 4? I was hoping that the sponsored stuff you did for RB4 would mean that you guys would be able to encourage Harmonix more than the fans who've used their song request page to try to get some RT music in the game.

You announced in your vlog on the 26th last month that lazer team will be released on YouTube red, however there is no release date for YouTube red set in the UK. Are there any plans for releasing the film to the UK and any other country that doesn't have access to YouTube red or will it be a case of you'll get it when you get it?

Season 1 Church was the Alpha AI(Seen during the CGI moments in the Freelancers Saga) who after the crash of the Ship and presumed death of Carolina was moved to Blood Gulch under the protection of Agent Florida(Captain Butch Flowers).

Church was given fake memories based on the Directors life. When he "died" for the first time, he thought he was a ghost. This kept up for a few seasons and such, until Season 6 episode 19, where he got wiped out by the EMP.

After that, the Epsilon AI took over the role of "Protagonist".

      BURNIE BURNS!

I enjoyed the vlog. I thought it was well done and I will enjoy something further.

The short 1min clips at the end is a great idea, you overlaying your audio is even better, that way it can cut off randomly and we know you did that on purpose.

You asked for suggestions, and the one thing I'd suggest is being informative about your process. I know that you guys have inspired a lot of film makers (including myself), and I'd like to understand better some of the cameras you'd suggest if you were on a budget today, as well as other film related things. Roosterteeth is a great comedy-centered company doing very serious things in order for it to work. I'd like to know the gears behind it a bit more.

At the beginning of Podcast 344, you guys talked about what constitutes an apocalypse, and you made the claim that even if only 10% of the population died, society would break down. It should be pointed out that during the Black Death, anywhere from 75, to 200 million people died. It's argued that because Europe was so depopulated, it allowed some amount of social mobility, which gave rise to the Renaissance. This is still argued to this day by scholars, but the caste system in Europe was heavily changed once the plague had begun to die down.

Also, I keep lifeboat rations, and other survival tools in my car. I don't have any potable water, but I have water purification tablets for days.

I had the great pleasure of getting to meet the talented Mr. Burnie Burns for the second time today after his speaking event in Lincoln, Nebraska.

That man really knows how to give a motivational and informative seminar. I had an amazing time listening to his words and gathered a lot of useful information from what he had to say. Burnie was even kind enough to stay afterwards and meet everyone who came and take a picture. But what's great about Burnie is that he doesn't just take a picture. He also stops to have a short conversation with everyone he meets. And that's when you know someone truly respects and cares for their fans. They are willing to spend more of their time than they need to to make sure they get the experience they want.

My experience is a great example of this. I got up to him, told him who I was and that I had met him a month before at RTX during one of his signings. Then I tried to motion the lady with my phone to go ahead and take the picture because I knew there so many people behind me and I didn't want to take up too much time myself. But then he stopped the camera and proceeded to ask me more questions and carry on the conversation. I was blown away. There was all these people behind me he still had to meet and he was willing to take the time to continue talking to me. We talked about RTX, my socks (which had chattering teeth on them), and a little bit about his presentation. Burnie really knows how to treat his fans and I am incredibly honored to have the experience with him that I had tonight.

Burnie didn't have to come all the way to Lincoln, Nebraska to speak, but he did and I am one of a couple hundred people who are vastly appreciative of tonight.

I am proud to call Burnie my idol.

I have had the same profile picture since I created this account 4 years ago. Today I met Burnie Burns! I finally have a good reason to change my picture.

Burnie came to Lincoln to give a presentation titled, "Creating Internet Content". He was nice enough to stick around for hours to meet fans and take pictures.

The presentation was awesome. I learned a lot and I had a bunch of good laughs. Most of all it was great meeting him and interacting with him. I have honestly always felt that I want Rooster Teeth to focus on creating content that I enjoy. I don't need to take up their time with fan interaction. I enjoy their content and I am perfectly happy seeing them from my computer screen.

However, seeing Burnie today makes me appreciate what he does for this community and Rooster Teeth's fans. He gives us a reason to laugh and smile. That is something I want to support.

I just wanted to say thanks for all the laughs you given me. I started with RvB when i was 12 and I have grown up watching the series until today. No matter what has happened in life RT and RvB have been the constant source of smiles for me and it would not have been possible if you hadn't had the guts to try and make a show in a video game. Thank you for being awesome, can't wait to see what you have coming up soon. I will miss church but I look forward to any new charter you decide to bring life to.

I have made a discovery. If you watch the end of Return of the King, during Aragorn's Coronation, you can see a guard making a funny face and a humping jester behind Arwen. He is on the right hand side in the background when they reveal her. Thought it was funny. Check it out.

      Burnie,

As I was finishing the last few minutes of Red Vs Blue Season 13, all I could think about was how much life, you gave to the show in your impeccable acting and creativity and the incredible way you could touch the hearts of so many people. Thank you so much for everything you did for RvB and showing the path it had potential for (especially from season 6 onwards) because I grew up with the show and its a beautiful and very very sad thing for me to see a whole Generation... a whole story being closed for good, but knowing that you handed off your baby, your creation to people who can care for it as much as we all did, gives me the largest amount of respect for you. To me, Church/Alpha/Epsilon will always be my favourite character and the best character ever... of all time!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

      Andrew

      Burnie,

Thank you so much for breathing life into one of my favorite characters. Church was an inspiring character and had a huge impact on my life. Your writing of Church during the Recollections and the Project Freelancer Saga was beautiful, and as Church continued his development under Miles' influence, your performance continued to excel. As Church became a more complicated character, your skills, not only as a writer, but as a VA, grew exponentially. The pure, raw emotion in your voice when Church went to spend his life away in a memory, when he forgot, when he met the Director again, and when he deconstructed himself bring tears to my eyes every time. You taught me that we can't spend our whole life chasing a memory, that our past doesn't define us, and that, in the end, all we can do is have faith that we made a difference.

      Thank you

      Michael
