      Just Cause

Just Cause was an open world game similar in nature to GTA, but very different. The player plays as Rico, a CIA agent sent in to topple a corrupt dictator in a fictional south American country. The player can free roam anywhere they want and take on missions in any order they want and once one set is complete the next waves of missions are opened. On top of the story missions were several others including missions to retake the regions from the control of the government and return it to the people of the country. Instead of being a criminal committing crime for their own good, Rico is a revolutionary charged with rallying the people of the country and dealing with dangerous dictator. The parachute mechanic was a great addition, allowing players to do Hollywood style stunts like jumping from car to car. With one of the largest open world maps I have ever played there is a lot of to and a lot of fun to have all over the fictional world in San Esperito.

      Naruto Path of the Ninja

Naruto Path of the ninja was the first naruto game not made in japan, instead it was made by Ubisoft. It had a free roaming adventure mode which I enjoyed and it covered from the start of the series to the invasion of the Leaf Village. While the story coverage is less then other games in the series, the 3-D free roaming of the Leaf Village with side quests and lots of exploring to do was definitely worth it. The bulk of the game is in the one on one fighting aspects of the game as is the multiplayer, but are excellent. The addition of DLC characters and being able to use them in forest of death mode where you try to get enough pts to clear it by battling as many opponents in a row as you can makes it a great game in the Naruto series.

      Lego Star Wars 2

Following the success of Lego Star Wars, Travelers Tales set out to capture the same type of humor with the original trilogy that is loved by millions. The game did have to change its focus from lightsaber combat to blaster combat and it did so expertly. While I was hesitant since the blaster characters in the first game weren’t really the best, blasting stormtroopers as Han Solo, was a lot of fun and playing as Luke as a Jedi made those chapters feel very comfortable and similar to the first game.

      Cloning Clyde

July 19, 2006, Ninja Bee released its second game on the Xbox live arcade. Gamers got a platformer with a Homerish character known as Clyde that was in a Lab and had to escape and had to ensure his clones escaped too. Puzzles were abundant and the Clydes could alter their DNA much like powerups of the Mario franchise in order to get around puzzles and get the other clones to the Air Vents to escape. It also supported two forms of multiplayer, standard Co-op which was decent and a versus mode where you had to defend your robots and destroy your opponents

      College hoops 2k6

When it comes to basketball, I am more of a college basketball fan then I am an NBA fan. So when College hoops 2k6 was a launch title, I had to pick it up. The first thing I did was edit in the names of the current Villanova players, which was my alma mater. I also entered the big players from other big east teams. I loved playing franchise mode, and the coach mode where you have to start with a lesser team and work your way to coaching a great team is a great concept. I choose Cornell and since then, I have always seemed to root for them in the Ivy League. I did 1000/1000 this game, and I will admit while it does have only a few achievements, you do have to become pretty good at the game to get them all.

      The Quest: One Year Mark

Well in january it will be a year ago that i started the quest, and while it has slowed down in a way, there will be some comparsions to see if i have improved since Jan 2010 or if i have slipped. Either way part of me wants to jumpstart it with trying to get the whole thing back on track. Yes it will be harder with having less free time then i did back in Jan, but with some luck, and hopefully some help from some friends, Year Two might be even better then year one. Hilarity and reviews will ensue. Stay tuned, cause fun is on the way. To quote the wise and noble CL4P-TP, "Hey, Check me out!!!!!!"

      Need for speed: Most Wanted

Racing games are a genre where you can find good ones and bad ones. Need for speed mixed the customizing of underground with the police chases of Hot pursuit and threw it all in a free roaming city. The story is about revenge when your car is taken by the leader of the Blacklist racers. You start with low level car and take on small races until challenged by a member of the blacklist. After the blacklist racer is taken down, you get to choose a marker, which could net you the blacklist racers car, and you slowly fight to get your car back and get out of the city before the law in the form of a fanatical detective catches up to you. This was the first game for the 360 that I got 1000/1000 in. While most racing games get dull to me after a while, the story and gameplay kept me in it until the ending cut scene. While I will admit I am not a big or creative car customizer, which means I like to put just flames on the side, flames are still cool, right? I don't really know what parts are good and which aren't but thankfully NFS makes it easily by limiting the amount of upgrades and they are very obvious. Additional the cut scenes using live actors instead of CG were an excellent touch and added to the realism and to draw players into a story and world of the fictional series.
