Anyone want a Let's Play Live ticket?

So I bought a ticket to Let's Play Live, but I've decided not to go. I've been super stressed and sleep deprived lately and traveling usually exacerbates things for me... so I've decided to sell my ticket!

If you or anyone you know would like a balcony seat to Let's Play Live, please message me. I believe the price for it was $49.99 but I can round it up to an even $50 and I can accept payment through Paypal. Once I receive payment I'll message you on this site with the ticket (it's an image file you print out to take with you to the event). I'm typing this at work and I don't remember the exact seat my ticket is for, but it's in one of the angled balcony areas (either Balcony 2 or Balcony 5).

I'm a little meh on not going, but I think I just wouldn't have fun cuz I'd feel like crap. Someone buy my ticket and go have fun in my stead!!!

      Missing RTX :(

      This is the first year I won't be at RTX. I went to the first one, which was amazing, and the next two, which were awesome as well. So it's hard looking at how everyone is getting ready for something so awesome that I won't be at this year. ;~;

Our family trip to Florida is coinciding with RTX, and I opted for Florida for several reasons: get to see my Granny, who's 91; go to the beach where we've gone every other year since I can remember; and this'll probably be the last family vacation for a long time. It sucks missing RTX, but I think I'd feel worse if I decided to go by myself to RTX while my family was in Florida.

So if I hate on anyone for going to RTX, it's only cuz I'm suuuper jealous! I hate all of you.

      Coma time.

After doing my first 2 shifts at my new job, which happened to be 11pm-7am 2 nights in a row, I would really love being in a coma. That would be so amazing.

      I (kinda) feel Gavin's pain.

I just had one of the most liquid poos of my life. Of course, it was one occurrence (so far) and I was at home on the toilet. But dear lord, it was pure liquid hate coming out of my ass.

Today our family lost one of the strongest woman I know. Although we did not have much in common and did not see one another too much over the last few years, I have plenty of fond memories of her. She taught me how to use a spoon like a human instead of a neanderthal. She taught us how to play Mexican Train, one of our favorite past-times now. She was an inspiration, attending medical school at an age when women were expected to sit at home and raise a family, which she did while maintaining a full time job as a pathologist... and she had 4 kids! I can only hope to accomplish as much as she did and live as fulfilling a life as she had. She lived a great 90 years, 68 of which she was married to my P-pa, who she met at medical school. I will miss you, and I will not be sad over your death, but happy with the memories and knowing you lived a loving and full life. Love you!

      Grandma

My grandma was hospitalized about 2 weeks ago because she could not catch her breath. Turns out her rheumatoid arthritis meds lower your immune defenses; she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and bad pneumonia. They had her on oxygen 24/7 but she was still having a hard time breathing and her O2 blood level was low. However, she started getting better, was placed on nasal O2, and, if she continued to get better, she could go to a rehab facility to recover.

For the past couple days, her recovery plateaued: she was not getting worse, but she wasn't getting better either. The doctor said she would most likely not get any better, and, Grandma being the inpatient woman she is, wanted to be placed on hospice immediately. Being on hospice is basically just a comfort until you die. She was going to wait till the end of June, but as I said, she is impatient and is tired of being bedridden and tired of being... well, tired.

I'm headed to Austin tomorrow to see her. My parents are already there. I have a lot of thoughts going through my head. I've never really been able to relate to my paternal grandparents, or anyone on my dad's side of the family; they are more old fashioned and religious, of which I am neither. I am sad that she will soon be gone, and sad for my dad and P-pa and aunts and uncles and all who care for her and love her. Especially P-pa... I think he'll go downhill fast after Grandma passes.

I also have some selfish thoughts. Why now? Why not give time for loved ones to visit you and say their goodbyes? I don't think you've given the recovery enough time. Probably the most selfish thought is, I graduate this weekend, do you have to start hospice now?

My head hurts. I should probably head to bed but I don't think I'll get much sleep. If you read this, thanks for listening... er, reading.

      Met a cool dude

Last night, I went to a local asian food place, through the pick-up window, for some delicious (or you could say Dragonlicious haha cuz that's what the place is called get it shoot me) beef and broccoli with steamed rice. The guy working the window had a LoZ cap on, and under his zipped-up hoodie I could see some familiar lettering. The following conversation transpired:

Me: Is that a BioShock shirt?
Dude: *unzips hoodie* Yeah, a BioShock Infinite shirt! Sweet, you're wearing a Tower of Pimps shirt!
Me: Hell yeah! And an Enderman hoodie!
Dude: Awesome, where'd you get it?

And I proceeded to tell him how he could get his very own Enderman hoodie. It was a nice exchange. and the food was delicious.
