      Dissapointment

Well I see my (and many others) complaints went unheeded and this shitty template for the profiles is still up. I wanna punch a baby. Anyways sorry for being gone for so long, if there was an android app for this site I'd be on every day being active and contributing, but I just hate turning on my aging laptop. I'll try to get on more since the semester is about to end but like I said, hate turning on laptop. Hope all my homies on here are doing well, or at least better than me, life sucks ass, mostly because of my retail job but most of you already know about that. See you guys around.

      A Few Updates

Ok, first off I made a decision, that I think I will highly regret later, to buy Dark Souls. That said, fuck that game and the developer, because it is so damned annoyingly hard, but I cannot stop playing. The game is extremely straightforward. Run around the demon world and kill demons so that you can return to the human world. The enemies are bastards and the bosses are greater bastards. I'm loosing my sanity over this game and coop feature is stupid. First you have to find a White Soapstone to write a summoning sign then someone in another game of similar level comes along and summons you into their world, this would work fine, if I had some damned friends with this game. Oh and you cannot be in an xbox live party if you want to play on coop, a la mw2. I'm going to stop there before I break something.

Next we have Ace Combat, Assault Horizon. It pretty much is what I expected in an arcade fighting game. All of the aspects of the game are extremely arcadeish, for example, the best and pretty much only way to kill enemies, especially on the harder difficulties, is to initiate dog fight mode. You move relatively behind another plane and tap the lb and rb buttons together to get a little tunnel vision. Then you try and keep your target in the middle of a large green circle so you can lock on to them and use your heat seeking missiles which for some reason get way more powerful in dogfight mode than just trying to shoot the plane down the old fashioned way. In dog fight mode, enemies will try their damnedest to loose you and keeping them in that circle is sometimes near impossible, also other enemy planes can get a dog fight on you and you have to counter them and then dog fight them. This gets annoying since you will always be in dog fight mode if there is a lot of planes. The AI on your side is totally useless, they should have just put balloons in the air that would have been more affective. If you like arcade dog fighting games, this is for you. If you are like me and prefer plane simulators, do not buy this game for the love of god.

Batman Arkham City. I have barely scratched the surface of this game but if you have played Arkham Asylum then you already know what this game is like. The story is really interesting though. Arkham city is a super prison/city that all the criminal of Gotham city are sent. Arkham city is built right in the middle of Gotham also. The "warden" of Arkham city is Dr. Strange, who somehow knows Bruce Wayne is Batman and sends him to Arkham City. Chaos unfolds when Penguin tries to kill you and you bitch slap his lackeys into a coma. Then you get Alfred to air drop you Batman toys and thus kick some ass. Some things happen and you end up siding with some unsavory characters like Catwoman, Bain, and, most of all, Joker. Hilarious, dark humored dialog ensues. Now I'm looking for Dr. Freeze, who has gone missing for some reason. That is about as far as I got. Like I said the game plays just like Arkham Asylum. If you haven't played it, shame on you go buy it now and play it or a lot of Arkham city will not make sense since Arkham City is a sequel.

As most of you know I love Max Brooks books on zombies, like the Zombie Survival Guide, and Wold War Z, which I'm currently rereading, and since every one has been making all this huff and puff about the new season of Walking Dead, I decided Sunday, whilst at work, to watch the season one marathon. This was a bad decision. Like I have been lamenting to my friends, The Walking Dead is just (insert any television drama hear) with zombies. What the creators tried to do, and failed in my opinion, was to have a character driven story about people living in a zombie apocalypse. They missed the mark by a lot, the zombie aspect is only hinted at in some episodes and almost completely vacant in others. Also they got a lot of zombie lore completely off. I can see that they tried for a Max Brooks zombie, but totally missed the mark like the whole episode where they cut up a zombie and draped its intestines around their necks to hide their live human scent. They should have been eaten immediately, not to mention the high probability of infection they should have gotten. Also if you are a military person and prides themselves on being able to tell apart military hardware apart from eachother, and you cannot stand it when movies and tv show get everything wrong, do not watch this. At one point the main character hides in an abandoned military tank. This is fine, whats not fine is that the tank was, and I'm pretty sure was a M24 Chaffee from world war two. Now I'm not sure and if the military in the show was National Guard, I'm pretty sure they would not be hanging on to a 60 year old tank. Later I swear I saw an Israeli Merkava tank, but I think I was mistaken. Another instance was that some military troops just happened to have some G3 in hand, cause you know, that's standard issue, and to top it off the sounds for the M4s and G3s where not even M4s or G3s. So I decided to not watch the hour and a half second season premier. I decided Dark Souls and Ace Combat was a better use of my time. I do have some good news from this, as some of you know Brad Pitt, or someone associated with him bought the movie rights to World War Z and The Zombie Survival Guide. If Mr. Pitt sticks to the books rigidly and doesn't stray to much I think these movies will be amazing. Of coarse, Hollywood has the tendency to fuck up book to movie adaptations so I'm not holding my breath. WWZ comes out in December of 2012 and The Zombie Survival Guide is slated to come out in 2014.

      Rage, Without the Anarchy

As I promised, I am going to post my impressions on Rage, which came out yesterday. First, like I said in my before post I'm cleaning house, but no one commented back. So I am just going to have to go through all of my friends and find which ones haven't been on in a couple of years. At least I only have forty something or other friends, so it shouldn't be that hard or annoying. I just do not like going to everyone's page individually to see how long it has been since they have logged on. It becomes quite tedious. Anyways, as I promised, Rage.

Ok, so I picked up Rage for my Xbox last night before my local Gamestop closed, and I can say with utmost certainty, Rage is what Borderlands should have been. That said I need to explain myself because I do not think I have properly orated to you lot my discrepancies with Borderlands and Gearbox, who in my opinion, really butchered their own game. See a really long time ago, Borderlands was just being whispered about. The graphics looked awesome, there was going to be the ability to create and mod your own weapons to outrageous proportions, and my favorite, there was going to be a huge environment you you could go all Mel Gibson and Road Warrior it up. Then everything went downhill. They announced the game was going to be an rpg, that was fine, there aren't that many fps rpgs around so I thought it would have been awesome. Next they decided to cut the more "realistic" graphics for a cell shaded look. Ok, I wasn't to happy but maybe it's for the best. Then that was the last I heard about the "modifications" to Borderlands. Then the game came out and I was pretty damn unimpressed. If you haven't played Borderlands, it's a game unto itself. It is a specific kind of game and gameplay for a specific player, which wasn't me. I think, the rpg aspect was defunct, for you had to unleash a maelstrom of bullets and grenades and rockets just to kill one person. Thats not fun, its tedious and annoying. On top of that if someone joined you to help it was actually a hindrance, because in Diablo fashion, the more players there were the harder the enemies were to kill. Also, there are literally a bajillion guns, this may sound cool but you constantly have to upgrade your weapon or you'll be destroyed by your already out of date guns inability to kill even a lowly Skag (lizard dog thing that is actually pretty cool). The story was ok with an M Nite Shamalamadingdong ending but more of a Lady in the Water instead of a 6th Sense ending in that it sucked and was highly disappointing. Now my most important grievance, the vehicles and sense of independence with said vehicles was lame. There wasn't much use for them cause they died just as fast as you did and to use the gun you had to have an extra person to man it but even then it was still as inaccurate that the driver locking on to an enemy. So, for me, Borderlands sucked. Don't get me wrong, it was a somewhat fun game to play but there was little to bring me, and my friends, back to it, for more. I expected something different and that is why the game, to me, was terrible.

Now that I have said that, Rage is what I wanted Borderlands to be. First off, the game-play is really good, I use the term really good, because the game might just be this way or I need to upgrade my weapons first, but some enemies are, a challenge to kill. They are damn resilient to bullets, and the AI is such a bastard. Even on normal, the enemies to all they can to get out of the way of your bullets. They duck behind cover, they throw grenades when I'm reloading, in the case of mutants dodge out of the way crawl and run on the ceiling and walls, and flank you if you are not paying attention. This isn't annoying, its just different. Most games the enemies just come at you, no strategy other then the human wave tactic to overpower you. These bastards are well armed well trained merchants of death that desperately want you dead. The weapons are beautiful and effective. First you start off with a dinky pistol, which is still formidable if you can shoot fast and accurate, and your fists, which are their own equip able weapon besides a separate melee you can do while having a weapon equipped. Then you get a beautiful semi-automatic shot gun which is amazing, it is not a pump action but still packs quite a punch. Since then I have acquired a crossbow, sniper rifle, light machine gun, assault rifle and rocket launcher which all have their uses so it isn't just a bedlam of chaos, shotguns and pistols for the mutant monkey, cause they like to get up close, assault rifles, sniper rifles, and lmgs for the normal bandits and other humans, and rockets for the heavies. For each weapon there are numerous mods and ammo types. Mods make your weapons more stable, shoot faster, and more accurate. The different ammo types are used for different enemies like the mutants and heavies mentioned before.

Any wasteland, Road Warrioresque game needs vehicles, its what borderlands tried, and failed at, and what, arguable, Fallout needs. These vehicles are amazing in the design and versatility, there are, so far, atvs, buggys, and trucks. To acquire different vehicles you need to race in events at certain towns, I say this cause I have only been to one town that has this but I do not want to leave out the possibility of others. These races you can acquire "racing certificates" that allow you to purchase new weapons and mods for you vehicles to make your own wheeled death machine. The races fall under many categories like time trials and friendly races but there are also the no holds bard races in which you have to destroy the other racers to win, and you will get blown up a couple of times too. The handling in the vehicles is not to shabby even just starting off, there is a boost mechanism, and you can upgrade handling, suspensions, and speed, to make driving through bandit infested canyons easier. While out and about, your vehicle can get destroyed, but fear not,

      Cleaing House

Alright, now that I'm trying to make a definite effort to get on here more and be a better community member, I have to clear some of my friends off of my friends list. Mostly just people who haven't signed on in like 2-3 years, which is a lot of my friends unfortunately. So I want a head count or roll call or whatever. I need anyone who still wants to be on my friends list to post in this journal so i can know whether to keep you or not. I'm gonna keep this journal up for a couple of days, at least till Wednesday, when I'll post my review on Rage. If you just became my friend or I've talked to you in the last month or two, don't worry your safe, I have selected memory like that.

      Battlefield 3 beta

Battlefield 3 beta starts on the 29th, but since I'm awesome and purchased Medal of Honor, I got a pass to start playing it yesterday. That said, battlefield 3 is fucking awesome. I love everything about the game so far, there is a new system to unlock weapons and mods for the weapons like grips, m203 grenade launchers, acog scopes, etc.. The new system is reminiscent of medal of honor, it looks almost the same and has the same kind of upgrades. This is not displeasing, as having played medal of honor extensively online, I loved it, Dice did a damn good job with that. It's almost like the BF BC2 and other Battlefield games, it plays relatively the same with some slight tweaks to the game play.

There is sniper sway, like in MW and other games, the scope is no longer just still, but it doesn't bob everywhere like MW it is very slight and, from what I understand you can't hold your breath, so you snipers are just gonna have to deal with it. Also, snipers are not one shot weapons anymore, at least the ones I've had to use aren't like the SVD and M110, which are semi auto weapons. Maybe the bolt action rifles do more damage but I've only been the victim of them and not the user, so I cannot make an accurate opinion on them. You can go prone now, I know this sounds horrible but it really isn't. Its more of a "get the hell out of the way and not die" strategy and less of "I'm a damn Call of Duty whore and I need to camp" strategy. The mods on the weapons can help and hinder you. If you decide to use a laser sight on your gun, I'm gonna see it on the wall and if you point it straight at my and I just happen to be looking in your general direction, I'm gonna see a big bright red smudge on my screen and that is your dumb ass, and I shoot you, and you die. Knifing is better, it is no longer a one hit kill per say, if you do not get behind a person and you have to hold the button you won't get an instant kill you'll have to slash at them 3-4 times, and you don't just put your knife away, afterward it stays out like an equipped weapon so you have to manually change back to your main weapon. One good mod is if you have a sniper rifle or a LMG you can put a by pod on it and set up your gun literally everywhere by just aiming, this makes your gun super accurate but also a target cause now your are mowing down people it is easier to find you. Building still get destroyed, I was outside on the defending team and watching the objective when a teammate off to my left unloaded an RPG7 on the building across the road. The entire first and second story wall of the corner of the building disappeared in a loud fireball and dust cloud, thus exposing stupid snipers who are now easier to kill. There are "mobile respawn points" these points are placed half way between your spawn and the objective, which is nice because running all the way from the original spawn to the objective only to get obliterated is really frustrating. Whats really nice about them is that they are really easy to miss, one time I spawned on one behind an enemy, who was shooting my team in the back, so I knifed his ass. They also don't always show up in the same spots I think I've only played a dozen or two rounds and they all don't seem to stay in the same places. Now last but not least and quite possibly my most favorite aspect of the game is that those faggot snipers cannot hide as easy. What I mean by that is, have you ever played Metal Gear Solid Snake eater? Do you remember the boss battle with the crazy old sniper, where you had to crawl everywhere and look for his scope glint, then subsequently shoot and kill him. Yeah they put the scope glare in the game, evertime a sniper looks through his scope a beautiful glare pops up for all to see even if he isn't really looking at you. Its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

The map metro something or other isn't a real good map to showcase this game on, it's pretty good though. The beta is only rush mode and normal, not hardcore (only sissies play on normal), but I could see this map on as a conquest map. There are two ends one is a park, the other is a street corner of some kind the bulk of the middle of the map is in metro tunnels, which have numerous paths and rooms, two out of the 4 rush positions are down there. It is really in depth too, like the ticket counters you can only get through one way unless you break the glass doors. Parts of the walls and other parts of the environment dissolve when shot or exploded by grenades. One of the MCOM stations is in a bathroom where you can destroy the sinks and bathroom stalls, which you see a lot, because many a grenade will be tossed in there. the begining of the metro tunnels is a crater where some explosives go off after the first rush positions are destroyed, revealing subway tunnels. You descend into these under construction and finished tunnels to look for the MCOM stations to destroy. There are civilian paths and maintenance access paths to follow which can be used to easily flank enemies if pinned down in another tunnel. The beginning of the map has you located in a corner of a large park, with trees and grass, a huge lake, bridges, boulders, and even a play ground. This area is a snipers delight if you don't keep your head down. I is usually easy to out flank the other team, because there are numerous approaches to the MCOM stations. A lot of assholes like to hide in the back of the defenders spawn and shoot them in the back but they usually don't go far enough back so that I can spawn at the initial spawn point and thus shoot them in the back. The last area is, like I said, essentially a street corner, there are two apartment buildings on each side of the metro exit, with a little plaza in between. Further down there is a city street and across the street an office building where the defenders spawn. This map is large but very linear, like most rush maps, but it can definitely be adapted for conquest

      Gears 3

Gears of war 3 came out yesterday, and I have beaten it. That said lets get down to the nitty gritty. Gears of War 3 is the final chapter in the Gears trilogy, and has been a long awaited one. Now after playing Gears 2 all those years ago, I had a preconceived notion of how Gears 3 would be, and thank god I was wrong. See, my biggest beef with the Gears franchise is that the multilayer was horribly unbalanced. The story was good but for prolonged enjoyment some kind of multilayer is needed. Then Gears 2 came out and changed...a little. See the multilayer got worse, way worse, but they also came out with horde mode. I had been waiting for a game to come out with a game type like this for a while. See you play horde with your friends but you don't play against the ass hat that runs strait to the boomshot at the beginning of every match. You play against a literal horde of computer enemies that get harder and harder with every wave. This makes you have to team up with the people you are playing in order to survive to the 50 wave, and believe me, it is a daunting task even with capable people. This made me play that form of multilayer but I still hated and ignored the player versus player multiplayer. Now when I heard last year Gears 3 was coming out May '11, I though, "that isn't going to fucking happen," because of certain theories about the game industry I do not wish to get into right now. Low and behold it did not come out May '11, but the beta for it did, and I, being the game consumer I am was invited to the beta because of my purchase of Bulletstorm, which wasn't half bad, but it digress. The beta was a multiplayer beta so my previous biases about Gears multiplayer made me very hesitant to play it, but let me tell you they took the shit they made and polished it to a golden sheen. Gears 3 multiplayer was unexpectedly done very well despite its predecessors. Everything was refined and let me tell you there is nothing more satisfying than bayonet charging and enemy. Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed the beta, and was some what sad to see it end. Now that Gears 3 is out I can enjoy everything the game has to offer at my own leisure.

Now that that is out of the way lets get to the story preview. The story is pretty damn rich, in some areas, and vacant in others. Some moments in the story really can bring a tear to your eye, like when Cole Train is reminiscing about his Thrashball days, I very much liked that scene, it was heart rendering. But, and this is a big but, some scenes where you were supposed to feel sad and depressed totally missed the mark and you are just kinda, meh, about the whole scene you just watched. Needless to say there are plenty of memorable one liners, I don't remember how exactly it goes, Cole: "This is Cougars territory, baby, my town," Baird, "yeah, cause that counts for a lot right now." Or, Baird: "I suppose this is the point where I say that I always loved you, but I don't, I really don't." Life threatening situations is where Baird's sarcasm really shines. Other than that, new elements in the plot like the COG being all but disbanded, and the Lambent threat hiding behind every corner really help the game shine. This game is a macho game where if you enjoy movies like Die Hard and Lethal Weapon, you should definitely play the game, you'd love it.

As for the multilayer, I haven't played it yet but I don't expect it to be a big change from the beta. I haven't played the horde yet but I heard it got better with upgrades to your position like deployable barriers and turrets. Beast mode is where its at. In Beast mode you play as the Locust and your objective is to kill all the humans in an area before time runs out and a hammer of dawn laser melts your face. You mostly fight random stranded but there are COG heroes, which are the main characters of the game that are tougher to kill. Now I said you play as the locust, and I know your thinking, all of them? Pretty much, you can play a lowly ticker or wretch or you can be a Theron Guard or a Boomer. I personally favor the wretch running around and jumping on people like Yoda is pretty fun. Now all the different locust have their strengths and weaknesses. As a wretch I can shout out this scream that stuns all nearby enemies but one shot and I'm dead. Also the locust do not regenerate health, which is annoying but I can see how that levels the playing field and makes the game a little bit more challenging. Now you cant just be a Kantus or a Grinder from the begging, you have to work your way up through a credit system where you get money for your kills then you purchase what Locust you are going to play as and you compile cash as you go through waves. One annoying thing is there are those deployable barriers and turrets the COG gets in horde, well you don't get those the stranded get them and they can be really annoying especially because they are everywhere, so you have to play relatively smart.

All In all, Gears 3 is a solid game and I give it a 9 on the Nacho scale. The story behind the Locust and Lambent and Fenix's dad is finally explained, and the multiplayer options are large and all enjoyable to some degree. These factors amount up to a really solid game.

Other than Gears 3 Lonesome road for Fallout New Vegas finally came out, after being postponed since July. I've been busy with Gears 3 so I haven't played it yet but I have high hopes seeing how a lot of unanswered questions are finally going to be answered. I have also started reading a lot because I'm back at school and I have lots of time on campus to destroy. I'm currently reading Reality is Broken: Why Game Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World, by Jane McGonigal. This book is about why we gamers play video games and how games can be used to improve our lives and society. I usually do not read books like this and I'd expect most of you wouldn't be interested either but this is a damn good book, so you should definitely give it a look

      Dread Island continued

anywhere, I love vehicles in games.

The story line is so so, you never really find out where the zombies come from, and there are a couple of foreseeable twists. Also you are some how immune to the zombie virus which is never really fully addressed either. I won't go any further cause I'll spoil the game if you are actually interested in getting this travesty.

I went into this game with a preconceived notion of what a zombie is and how the apocalypse would go down. so I didn't really have good expectations from the get go. That aside, many of the games mechanics do make the game difficult as fuck to play by yourself. Like I said if you have buddies with this game, PLAY WITH THEM, playing by yourself, sure, you can still get through the game, it'll just be infinitely more annoying and difficult. I give it a 6.5 on the Nacho scale, It is a wonderful concept in some areas and just dreadful in others. Till there is a zombie apocalypse survival game based solely off of the Zombie Survival Guide, I think I'm just gonna avoid zombie games from now on, they promise so much but in the end drop the ball and botch the whole thing.

      Dread Island

In Dead Island you can enjoy all the comforts, and pains, of a zombie apocalypse with your fiends, if they decide it is a game worth spending money on. To help you decide if the damn game is worth 60 bucks let me tell you about a couple of nuances in the game of zombie horror survival. First off if you do not have any friends who eithr have or are getting this game, then forget about this game right here. Sure, the first area is managable by your lonesome but the next act is a whole different beast which requires at least two people, unless you enjoy constantly getting gang raped by zombies. Aside from that let me get to the most annoying part of the game, at least for me it is.

Survival horror is great, if you have the right tools. What tools you ask, firearms, and lots of them. In the beginning of the game all combat is hand to hand. First you have a stick, then you graduate to a knife, and that is about it. There is one pistol, but no ammo, but that doesn't matter anyways cause you only carry 50 rounds of pistol ammo. Let me put this in perspective, i have a very decent weapon now and It still takes about 3-5 rounds to kill a zombie. What, you say go for the head shot, that ain't gonna happen. Its not that head shots are hard it is just that they don't kill the god damn zombies. So I pretty much just hack and slash the zombies and save my precious ammo for head shots on normal people in the game, head shots actually work on them. So pretty much every time you run into a zombie its hand to hand, and if any of you have been paying attention to my old post you'd know I'm a devout advocate of the Zombie Survival Guide, which states, and I summarize, avoid fighting zombies hand to hand cause it is fucking stupid and the surest, quickest way to die. So now you can understand my annoyance, but I digress.

Now the equipment is pretty straight forward, there are bludgeons (paddles, sticks, baseball bats, etc) then there are blades (clevers, kitchen knives, machetes, and my favorite katanas) and of coarse firearms (pistols, assault rifles, and shotguns) but you might as well throw rocks that'll be more affective and you wont waist as much ammo. On top of that you can upgrade your weapons, for instance, I finally obtained a katana and decided to strap a battery and some electrical wire to it and presto chango, I have a katana that every time I hit a zombie not only cuts them but does a little electricity damage and if I get a critical he does a little dance. Ther are a bunch of different mods for your weapons and secret ones like a knife that when you stab a zombie causes their head to explode, yippie. The only drawback to these hand to hand weapons is that they deteriorate and to alleviate this problem you must regularly visit work benches. That said I kill three zombies with my electric katana and it goes from 100% down to 10%, I don't know about you but there are some discrepancies I see in this. Luckily the firearms do not get destroyed at all, they require no regular maintenance, I don't see why they would I cant even use the ones I have.

Now that I've gotten the equipment out of the way let me tell you about the zombies. There are several different types of zombie. The walker, stereotypical zombies, it shambles and tries to kill you in a slow fashion. Not deadly by itself but four of them and you better watch your back. Next are infected, if you've seen the remake of dawn of the dead then yeah they are as fast as a Jamaican in the 100 meter dash. Annoying by itself deadly in numbers above one. Then thugs, who are slow and for the most part don't even acknowledge you exist till you get too close, then they slowly start walking toward you and then hit you with such a force that you go flying for about 10 feet and land on your ass, oh and you loose half your health. You usually only see one at at time and at the most two at a time. There are rams, who are big assholes who are as strong as thugs but they are fast and do not have full faculty of their arms because they are thankfully in straight jackets. They only come in singles and all you have to do is dodge their charge and hit them consecutively in the small of the back marked by a red bloody patch, they are more annoying than deadly. Next are floater, you know what they are so insignificant they don't even need mention, I mean the god damn things don't even try and hit you. Suiciders are quite annoying because the explode and kill you in one hit, you only see one at a time. Last but not least are my favorite, butchers, or as I like to call them Mr. Miyagi. He dodges your kicks and attacks and flails at you with his knife hands, so its pretty much wax off, wax on, and your dead, you only see these guys in singles.

Combat can be really easy or really difficult depending on what weapons you have which zombies you are fighting and how many zombies you are fighting. You have your standard melee attack with your hand to hand weapon, on top of that you can aim and chuck your weapon at a zombie which isn't really effective at all, but on top of that you have a secondary melee where you kick. Now with this kick you can knock a zombie down and cut or bludgeon it to death if the first kick wasn't enough and later in the game one normal kick won't be enough you can, jump kick, just jump then kick that will knock a zombie right on his ass, this only works on the first two zombies I mentioned, walkers and infected, the other ones it doesn't even phase them.

As for the environment, the island is huge, but devided into 5 different areas, so you cannot just wander to the final area in the beginning of the game. There are vehicles and I love them, zombies, for the most part cannot hurt you in them, you can just run over the bastards, even the big ones, not suiciders though they will still kill you with their uber explosion, the cars never, ever, ever, ever break down, they do get stuck from time to time though, and the damn things go just about

      Space Marine

So if anyone out there still cares I exist I've been playing Warhammer 40k Space Marine, and its pretty damn good. Especially for a THQ game, that company, like Activision, sure knows how to fuck up a game. The visuals are great the gameplay isn't half bad, although to get health back you have to do executions. To do executions you have to stun enemies. Doing this in a fight with 30 orcs of varying types, meaning you are a: getting shot at, b: being pummeled to death with blunt objects, and my favorite, c: getting rockets shot at you from a concealed position. The game is really tactical, even on normal you cannot just run in and start mashing buttons you have to most often stand back and take out the annoying enemies, i.e. rockets/guys with guns, usually with a sniper rifle of some sort, then decide to movie in with melee or stay back a little bit more an mow down some guys with either the sniper rifle, grenade launcher or the bolter(assault rifle), then start hacking away with your melee weapon of choice. I've only gotten through I think half the game, chapter 10 I think, and its been pretty damn good but fast I got through ten chapter in a matter of 5 hours, and that was wislt doing laundry, so this game is gonna be real short I think. As for co-op I don't think there is any but I don't have any friends who have the game so I can check it out and I have yet to check the multiplayer, for fear of having to deal with assholes, by my self cause no friends have this game. Id give this game a good 8 on the Nacho Scale so my friends call it. Its good but it could be better, especially for such an esteemed title like Warhammer.

Other than that, all my stupid college loans are on collection right now so I'm all out of moneys for a while. Again I should have never, ever, ever, gone to college, it was a pipe dream and money pit that is never going to come to fruition and I still maintain that I should have joined the damn military I'd be far better off. Anyways good luck to all the homies out there in college, hopefully you are better at it than I.

      What Happened?

Well I just woke up and watched 3 brand new spanking episodes of rvb. This is turning out to be a great Sunday! That'll change by 11am, when I am wanting to slit my wrists at work. Anyways, for all you who are still watching me, which is doubtful, I am back and I'm just gonna start from scratch.

Let me tell you of the ordeal I just went through to get back on here. I, on a random fling, decided to get on the ole rvb.com and watch the latest videos that, and I heard from a reliable source, were finally out. I tried to log in and wouldn't you believe it? I forgot my god damn username. Not the password though, don't think I could ever forget that, but I digress. Had to start a new profile search for my ass by using the handy: search for user by gamertag, which is totally sweet by the way, and finally got logged back on.

Here is to me, hopefully, not being absent for the next year or so. Now I'm going to bed I have to fucking work in the morning at that hell hole I call a job, later.

Dude man, I just checked out your forum and just about everybody who posted on it is a fucking dick. I personally thought the comment of Darth Vader voice asking someone if they raped a dead racoon was hysterical, but then again I'm fucked up.

      Ron Paul's a presidential candidate.
      Watch this please:
      youtube.com/watch?v=FG2PUZoukfA
      and this
      www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXA7rRjInk0&eurl=

He has received more donations from our men and women in the military then any other candidate.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Fox news constantly tries to smear his campaign. The mass media tries again and again to ignore him.
You can find all the information you want from youtube on Ron Paul.
