So the plot is: In the late 1970's, the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence project received a one time signal from outer space. It looked exactly as theorists thought a communication from an alien civilization would -- unfortunately it has never been decoded. Or so we were told. Unbeknownst to the general public the signal was translated and told us two things:
1. We are not alone.
2. The galaxy is a dangerous place.
Our story is live action sci-fi comedy that takes place decades later in the aftermath of this event. The aliens say they will build and fabricate a suit of armor with unimaginable power for one human in particular that will be crowned "the Champion of Earth" as the human race make it's debut to the galaxy. Since it takes so long to construct it and to deliver it to Earth, it takes a number of decades to arrive. In the meantime the U.S. government has found a genetically superior human and have been training him ever since birth. As the delivery craft containing the suit makes it's way towards it's destination, four idiots in a small town near the military base shoot it down. Before the military can make it's way toward the crash site, these idiots manage to get inside and each put one piece of the armor on. Oddly enough the suit is designed so that it genetically locks on to whoever puts it on so the government needs to cooperate with having them become the champions of Earth instead of one hero.
