I'm scared of who might follow me on here. Then again, none of my friends even use the RT site. MAYBE one of them.

Regardless, I'm not dead. My ideas aren't either. Here's another thing about another one of my characters that I made about a year ago.

I was going to give Auburn a tragic backstory, but I also wanted to give her a brother. That would throw everything about her personality completely off, so let’s just give her brother the pain. Ha.

Auburn was born to Jonathan and Laila Grant, with Laila being her brother’s step-mom. Auburn began her life loving her parents, but slowly realized how truly toxic they are when it comes to her brother, DJ. DJ’s mother, Cecily, passed when he was 4 years old. His father quickly rebounded due to being in such deep denial. A year later, Auburn was born. However, DJ developed a mental illness that his dad neglected in favor of his new wife. DJ grew up having to take care of himself, and when he got older, he realized his parents were also somewhat neglecting Auburn. Whether it was out of a lack of care or a lack of awareness, he wasn’t too fond of it. Because of this, he’s done the most he possibly can to give her an easy life, distracting her from the reality of their parents not giving a damn. DJ’s done his best to try and emotionally connect with her, but with his disorder, school, and work, they can hardly talk to each other. Auburn’s mom, Laila, treats DJ with less respect and disregards most of his problems since he’s, biologically, not her kid. And, as aforementioned, Jonathan has been neglecting DJ’s mental instability since it became an issue. Auburn is just now becoming aware of this, and it’s constantly on her mind. In spite of this, she’s too anxious to say anything about it to her parents because, in her eyes, they’ve given her everything. Auburn constantly worries about her brother, but puts on a smile on every day so others can be happy.

DJ did once give Auburn a rather expensive birthday present: a silver ring. The ring has the Japanese characters ¨慈悲” engraved in it, which translates to “mercy”.

Auburn has black hair and brown eyes.

DJ stands for Damein Jevon. It’s an inside joke, don’t ask.

I have another one written for a pair of main characters in the ensemble cast. I'll post it once I draw the younger one. Also, don't ask why I didn't draw Auburn, I'm bad at drawing girls. Give me a minute

A while ago I made the OST for a show called "Kunzite Universe", a Steven Universe fanshow. It's dead now, so I guess that's what stopped me from doing anything musical, especially since there was a period of time in which I had neither a tablet nor computer. Now, I have two PCs. I've made a bunch of stuff, but I'm going to share 3 tracks right now, as they're related to Project Valor Storm (if you don't know what that is, refer to my older posts). I made theme songs for two of the characters (despite never having drawn one of them, lmao), and remixed Sky's theme. Have a listen.

      Sky's theme.

      A remix of Sky's theme.

Auburn's theme (I haven't talked about her yet, don't worry).

(Keep in mind that this series won't come out until a LOT of years pass, so it'll probably be remastered eventually.)

    • ay am i supposed to be posting here

I'm still working on the backgrounds of several characters at once (which I honestly shouldn't be, lmao). Regardless, next character I post about is going to be the deuteragonist. So, look forward to that or something. Should be out within the next two weeks.

Remember that series I posted about 3 weeks ago? Well, I've been getting back into drawing, and figured I should draw some art of my characters. And while that art is not in this post, you can see it by clicking here. I've also put it in the images tab of my profile, so go there as well.

But anyway, let's get into the main character of my series; Sky. He's 15 years old at the start of the series. Well, technically 14, but his birthday is one of the first events of the story. So that doesn't matter. He's Irish, as well as his dad (whom he lives alone with). He works delivering pizzas. And if you're wondering, his universe is only slightly different from ours. Most of the differences are laws and things of the sort. Kids as young as 13 have been able to work full time jobs (but they're hardly obligated to by family, considering school still exists). Same thing goes for driving. Kids are able to get their permits when they're 13. But back to Sky. You see, he's never had that many friends due to his so called "toxic" personality (said by many). He's not mentally disturbed, he's not a douchebag, he's just different, and people always judge him for it. It might be because of his dog, Drei, and it might be the fact that he's a nerd that collects unrealistic weapons that he most times can't even use. He has two friends at work, however. Their names are Gabby and James, and are both older than him. Now, despite his appearance, Sky can put up a good fight if he needs to. His dad taught him everything he knows, because as Lee Everett said: "Dads are smart like that." Sky's dad is also the reason he wears beanies so often. Now, I guess I can get into his history. Or background, or whatever.

Sky Noel Ward was born in Dublin, Ireland to two seemingly loving parents. But evidently, Sky’s mother had other matters to attend to. Either that, or she didn’t care about her kid. Sky’s mom (Cailin), left soon after his birth. Sky's not a Yang recolor either, I swear. After this, Sky was left by himself with his father, Doten. A few years later, Doten started picking up a “habit”. Pretty sure you can infer what I’m talking about. Luckily, he broke it before the series starts. As for Sky, he had a relatively difficult upbringing. Not due to his father; he was ultra supportive. But they were never in a very good financial state. Sky’s dad figured there would be more opportunities for him in America. He got his visa, and days after Sky’s 9th birthday, they made their way to the states. They arrived in Boston but figured anywhere in the country would be better. Afterwards, they settled in Memphis and have been there for their entire stay in the US. While in Tennessee, Sky happened across a stray Corgi who appeared to be starving. Things were settled, and Sky was able to keep the pupper and named him “Drei”.

Let’s talk about Sky in particular. He was born with ADHD. He’s got brown hair and eyes, and is not the tallest person. Since the move to America, his accent’s been slowly fading away. His grades have always remained relatively well (in comparison to when his dad was in school), and he’s a pretty well mannered kid.

And uh, that's all I've got to say about him. Maybe it wasn't a lot, maybe it was too much. Hope you got something out of it, though. I'll post more of these about different characters as I figure out where I want the series to go, and when I want to introduce them. Again, you can see Sky's concept art by clicking here. That's about it, though. See you next time.

    • So, I have an idea for a thing.

I'm finally putting my creative talents to work. In full, not just making cringeworthy YouTube videos. You see, I've had several ideas for animated series, webcomics, novels, etc. in the past. The problem with those is that they were a little too heavily influenced by other media (Kingdom Hearts, RWBY, lotta shit that's important to me). That wasn't good. So I started from scratch. The only aspects of my new thing similar to my old shit are character names. Right now, it's called Project Valor Storm. The name is definitely subject to change, but I think I've got something good going for me right now. If it's going to be an animated or live action series, I've already got the script for the first episode complete. And I'm done with the overall overlying plot. And just like the title, these things are definitely subject to change. This probably won't even become a reality until I'm out of college. But here's the backstory that will come back up late in the series.

200 years before the events of the story, all kinds of people were making more innovative things, from new types of cars to communication devices. The past was nearly as advanced as the present in this universe. Serena Dolo and Mei Cielo were best friends who had just graduated from college with bachelor’s degrees in architecture, and decided to start something of their own in order to put themselves out there. They single-handedly built several buildings called “Crysantions”, which people would rent for days at a time (unsupervised). They had state of the art technology (due to Serena and Mei’s friend Sebastian), such as teleporting stations and fairly more advanced projectors to make living in these a luxurious experience. This became a problem. Soon enough, criminal organizations began planning all of their schemes inside of these Crysantions. They’d usually execute their plan on the last day of their renting period, then teleport back to the building (most of these heists were simple stick-ups and robberies). Serena and Mei didn’t like this, but if anything could prove that money is the root of all evil, it’s what happened next. All of these criminal organizations were linked under a sort of network called “Two Worlds”. With this, they all combined had an immense amount of money. They bribed Serena and Mei to let this keep happening and to build them the technology to go through with these heists. However, Sebastian wasn’t in for it. Due to this, he was frozen and stowed away in a mysterious location. Serena and Mei decided to rename the organization “The Crystal Carnation”. Eventually, evil took over them both and they were soon promoted to leaders of said group. They expanded and got people with different skills from all across the globe, and it seemed they were unstoppable. One day, they were searching for resources to use in order to enhance their weapons, and they came across a dark fuschia mineral they appropriately named “Violet Heart”. However, this mineral held supernatural power. This was discovered in an attempt to liquify it. They soon got the idea to infuse the liquid form of this mineral into their weapons as an enhancement. There was an ample supply of it from where it was first discovered, so this would keep them going for a long time. Or, so they thought. One day, while Serena and Mei weren’t looking, a creative worker wasted some Violet Heart molding it into pottery to sell. He was caught when they came out of the kiln, but his life was spared. Since these were made of pure purple heart, they had more power than any of their other weapons. He was asked to stow all of them away somewhere they would not be found. And that he did. But several other workers heard, and all went after these items, even though they were urged not to by Serena and Mei. Most of them died trying. The worker who made the items felt responsible for all of these deaths, causing him to commit suicide. After this, there were very few workers left. Serena and Mei brushed this off as nothing, however, and renamed the creative guy’s works of art “valor relics”. They shut down The Crystal Carnation, as they could retire with the insane amount of money they had. The rest of the workers rebuilt their old organizations, and they all made it their duty to eventually find these relics. The goal was passed down through generations in the criminal groups, so it stuck to this day.

      That’s not all.

When Serena told the guy that made the relics where to put them, she obviously knew where they’d be. Serena obtained one. From their discoveries, she knew that topical use of liquified Violet Heart would almost instantaneously kill a human. However, injecting a large amount would heavily increase someone’s life span, and possibly grant them immortality (they tested on fruit flies, as they have a very short life span and share a high number of genes with humans). Serena is still living to this day.

I hope there aren't any grammatical errors in that, because I need to work on other shit. If there are, be sure to tell me. Hope this didn't make you cringe! I have good faith that this'll become something great in the future. Just hold on.

hey who knows maybe if i work at rooster teeth it'll get greenlighted and i won't have to worry about funds
