I was on the RT Community Podcast with Morgan from Drive by Dogs! You can listen to the podcast by clicking here (I was on episode 6). It was super fun and I'm thankful to them for having me on. Listening to my own voice never gets any less weird, though.
One last bit of follow up:
Morgan asked me what my long term career plans are. I said I wanted to make another game, which is definitely on the horizon, but I also don't want to limit myself if opportunities come up. If I could lean my career in the direction of the entertainment industry in any way, that would be fantastic, regardless of whether I'm programming or doing audio engineering or doing anything else with the weird skillset I've developed. Ultimately, I just want my career to be about creating entertainment value for an engaged audience.
Also, if anyone is interested in game development, I'd recommend going through this tutorial and then these tutorials to get started. The hardest parts of game development will be continuously learning as you go, making something that a lot of people find value in (which is a heck of a challenge), and finding good collaborators. Best of luck!
