im not sure if it's already been posted on here but a very shocking incident happened during the F.A Cup qurter-final between Bolton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspurs
in round about the 41st minute of the 1st half 23 year old Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba collapsed with noone around him.
medics from both teams rushed onto the pitch to find him face down and apparantly not breathing, he was given mouth to mouth and chest compressions, even going as far as a defibrilator being brought on and used atleast twice in an attempt to revive him
an ESPN reporter has stated that he was still not breathing as he was carried off the field through the tunnel and after many minutes of discussion with both teams it was decided by the referee to abandon the game at 41 minutes.
as of now Muamba is in a stable but very critical condition as all through sunday messages off support flooded in, stretching as far as Spain and Italy
i know this is not the 1st time this has happened, not even the 1st time its happened in football (soccer) alone. i've seen stories from the NFL of players having heart attacks in the locker room at half time
i just thought i would get everyone's thoughts on this as this was a game broadcast live and i was watching it so it's the 1st time i've seen an incident like this as it actually happened
