VTCCA99 Beer me
35 year-old male from Sterling, VA
I found out about Rooster Teeth when I bought the F.E.A.R. gold edition, and it came with a PANICS episode. Once the tears of laughter stopped, I checked out the site and the rest is history. Ahh, the joys of cross-promotional marketing...

Anyway, I live in the Washington D.C. area (northern VA), and I'm currently working for AOL. I'm a proud alumnus of Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!), and I'm currently working on my masters degree at Maryland.

Interests When I'm not working unpaid overtime I'm either watching movies playing computer games or reading. I prefer PC games to consoles (which may be sacrilege around here) but I just can't see spending the money on a console when I';ve already got a PC. And be honest with yourself you know that a mouse & keyboard is superior to a gamepad for first person shooters. [ducks]... college football all other sports = killing time until college football comes back.
VTCCA99'S...
Music rock electronic limited selection of rap Celtic bagpipes bootlegs (or mashups whatever) less pop-like singers (Sarah McLachlan Tori Amos Loreena McKennit etc... no teen-idol types) Stephen Lynch Tenacious D classical music (particularly Greig). It all really just depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm doing while I listen. Carbon Leaf FTW.
Movies Greatest movie ever = Army of Darkness. Action comedy (but not the stupid parody movies or slapstick crap I prefer dark or sarcastic humor) scifi suspenseful horror not gory horror (gore isn't scary). I have an enormous movie collection and it's hard for me to name specific favorites. Also every movie ever made is better if you watch it with a rifftrax...
TV Shows Greatest TV show ever = Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K). I';ve got half a dozen of the DVD boxed sets. Hilarious. Also Firefly (stupid Fox network) Psych House The Closer Criminal Minds CSI (the original only) Hell's Kitchen (I know reality TV is the devil but I just love to watch him abuse people) Dr. Who Heroes Numb3rs Bones Monk Burn Notice Castle. I'm probably forgetting some but I'm too lazy to go check my Tivo.
Books Pretty much any fantasy and scifi. My favorite fantasy series is probably "The Riftwar Saga" by Raymond E. Feist. Favorite sci-fi is "Armor" by John Steakley. I've been branching out into some nonfiction books lately not counting the crap I have to read for grad school. I just finished "The Lymond Chronicles" by Dorothy Dunnett "America Alone" by Mark Steyn and I'll drop everything once the next book in George R. R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" comes out.
