As long as it isn't the radio, pop-influenced crap. I like some of the real stuff like Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash.

I make allowances for bluegrass, but that's not quite whole-souled country.

I also make allowances for rock/pop/country converts, like Shania Twain. You liked "Man, I Feel Like A Woman". Stop denying it.

Im not actually a country fan, but i can stand listening to it. However, I do greatly admire country music for its strong sense of patriotism.

I like Toby Keith, some Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Paul Brandt.

I was raised on this stuff so I'm used to it.

Though my music of choice is metal.

I just started looking at the forums but I thought this was funny, A list of real country that includes Big and Rich, Chris Cagle, and Blake Shelton is certainly a sign of a miss guided youth.

Chris LeDoux, Dwight Yoakam, Johnny Cash, David Allen Coe, Waylan Jennings, Joe Diffie, Willie Nellson, and yes even the pretty little blue eyed Leann Rimes all missed the list?

Don't ge me wrong, you have some good ones up there but if you clame to be listening to real country maybe you need to expand your horizons a bit.

PS. although I must thank you for not claming Garth to be real, he does have some good stuff and his live shows are awsome but he just knows where the money is.

Like Siege, I was raised with it. I can stand it and maybe like some of it, but not my music preference. I do have respect because its one of the oldest types of music, and there's much worse stuff you can spend your time listening to.
