I put this on the other forum, but it's likely Volume 6 won't be on Youtube. It doesn't affect people here (probably) but it still sucks.

I thought of a fun idea. I was thinking of which characters from Marvel and DC would make great mentors for the Marvelous Seven and Oscar.

    Marvel

    Ruby- Spider-Man

    Weiss- Scarlet Witch

    Blake- Black Panther

    Yang- Iron Fist

    Jaune- Captain America

    Nora- Thor

    Ren- Shang-Chi

    Oscar- Dr, Strange

    DC

    Ruby- Flash

    Weiss- Zatanna

    Blake- Catwoman

    Yang- Black Canary

    Jaune- Superman

    Nora- Wonder Woman

    Ren- Batman

    Oscar- Dr. Fate

I don't remember who the Black Widow belongs too - I think it's marvel - but imo, that totally belongs to Blake, ok. paws down.

I know Black Widow would have been just as good a mentor as Black Panther would be for Blake. I just thought he would be slightly better considering he can teach her about her animalistic side

I don't think so. A lot of Natasha's tricks comes from subverting expectations proving she's more capable than the "mortal woman" they take her for. She casts herself as weak and vulnerable, her opponent arrogantly doesn't think of her as anything else, but they end up missing the rug that's under their feat which is what BW wants so she can yank in from underneath them. Their arrogance was responsible for their own fall. That's vastly different from Blake's style. I can't seem to even think of a character that fights remotely close to that style other than Neo. The "attack unsuspecting from the shadows" is vastly different and closer to Blake's actual style. Blake uses her natural environment for camouflage before striking. It boils down to stealth vs tricks.

Panthers blend into the shadows when stalking their prey. Their silent hunters. Experts in stealth and they can trick their prey too. It all describes the Black Panther too. He fights just like is name sake. But, for the sake of argument, let's agree that BOTH of them would be good mentors for Blake

Yeah, but as of late, one's dust in the wind, and one's dealing with PTSD. Not exactly good instructor material for the time being.

Yeah, one being dead narrows down the choices quite a bit.

Eh, again I can’t agree Black Widow would be good mentor for Blake just because I can’t see the similarities between the two except maybe outside of IM 2. That was an excellent fight on Nat’s end.
