Hey guys, been gone 2 years but logged into day as im sure someoen on here might be able to help me

basicly, FF has started messing me about a bit.
all of a sudden it refuses to load certain sites (mainly facebook, myspace, google, anything google related)
when i attempt to load one of these pages, it just 'waits' for absolutly ages.
the strange thing is though that other websites are perfectly fine, granted slower than before, but load okay none the less

at the moment i have to use safari to access these sites which is kinda annoying when i am like a huge FF fan boy

anyone know what the problem is?

    cheers - Matt.

Do you have any Add-ons? What version of FF are you using?

If you're in Windows, click the "Start" button, "All Programs", "Mozilla Firefox", "Firefox (safe mode)".

Then make your own thread, or post in the Firefox thread.

What addons do you have installed, though?

Have you tried making a new profile? (assuming you don't have any add-ons)

On my three XP computers (i'm on my 2000 now) the latest update of firefox has caused it to not load any pages. and i use IE on those.

    Uninstall them and find out.
