Over the summer (or spring break, depending on when I have time), I plan to build myself a decent PC for college. I've done a bit of research, and have just about everything prepared for the layout that I'm looking for. The one thing that I can't quite figure out, however, is the manner by which I get internet to my future creation. I've been researching PCI modems, but I'm not sure what sort of card I want. I'm looking for something that can handle decent Ethernet connections, and if possible, a wireless adapter (not necessary, but I'm not sure how the setup will be in the dorms).

    Any suggestions?

Your computer's motherboard have a built-in LAN adapter?

Just noticed that in the footnotes, it mentions the fact that it DOES have a built-in LAN adapter.

Well, since that problem's been solved, how about wireless adapters? Any suggestions?

Get one that has support for Wireless N if you want some future-proofing. Get one without it if you want to save a few bucks.
