Hey everyone, I've got a problem and wonder if anyone could help. I'm trying to upload a video to Youtube that was captured with an Elgato Game Capture HD 60, which captures in 1080p. I edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015, and converted it into an MP4. When I watch it with Windows Media Player, it runs fine and looks high quality. But whenever I upload it to Youtube, the highest possible quality is 480p. Anyone know why this is?

It's not unusual for higher resolution playback options to take a while to appear as YouTube finishes rendering all the different video files. If it doesn't show up eventually then maybe YouTube simply doesn't like the video file...maybe try a different codec.

It actually did give an option for higher resolution after I uploaded. It hadn't done that with previous uploads, but changing the codec did help.
