After the controversial finish at Tally last week, what is everyone's thoughts on that event? Could it have been avoided? Is anyone or anything to blame? Or is it just a freak accident that will never happen again? Discuss.

I blame france, and the shitty wings on those cars Seems they love to get the ass end up in the air a lot easier with those wings then the old spoilers. If his ass didn't get up into the air, he probably wouldn't of gone flying when Newman hit him if it wasn't for that cars ass getting airborne. Personally the COT might be safer in some ways, but that wing gets it airborne too easily.

The car was coming down when Newman hit him, and the old car loved to fly backwards too, but they both would come back down thanks to roof flaps. What never happened with the old car was another car hitting it at 190 mph.

The cars, old and new, are designed to make down force. Anytime you turn that shape backwards and maintain the speed it will have a tendency to create lift and get airborne. This has little to do with that little wing on the back and a lot to do with the shape of the cars as a whole.

I am just glad the fence held. Otherwise, the calls to ban racing would be load and continuous.
