well, i wouldnt mind a 12 guage when things get dicey and sound is not a problem, but when i need to use a more muted gun i would use a .22 cuz it will destroy the brain and is light

Simple. Silenced sub-machine gun. and steal crowbar. I wouldn't want a shotgun because of the burst fire. And let's be honest, do you really want to get THAT close to a zombie to use it? No. You want to avoid confrontations at all costs. It makes it easier to avoid detection.

So I guess what I can learn here is something fast, long ranged, quiet, light, and doesn't involve fire, kind of takes all the fun out of hunting the undead for sport like we will once the z-wars (not to be confused with the ass balls that was the D-warz) blow over and we have the first ever zombie olympics... But I'm getting ahead of myself, survive first... just one more reason.

i have a book about kiling zombies and it says that the .22 is a good weapon to use cuz its light , the bullets are easy to come by and u could hold alot more ammo

Shark harpoon. No sound, reusable bullets, and fires a projectile. If I had to go with a gun though, it would have to be the P90.

This. Calico M .22 100 rd mag. Get 3-4 fully loaded mags and you're set. Anything else is a waste of time, killing effectiveness, and space.

I'm gonna personally stick with some favorite of a Shotgum, magnum for sidearm and a trusty shovel for close combat

If I could get hold of a gun, it'd be the AK-47 with a forward grip and I'd weld a chainsaw to the side of the gun for melee purposes. Unwieldy perhaps, but useful if I had to slice through debris or zombies to escape. For a side arm, it'd probably be a generic pistol (I don't know my models) or a Glock 9mm. Also, a katana on my waist.

my kurki knife on my belt, a trench knife on my leg, a tactical twelve gauge shotgun on my back, some grenades in a pouch, and an M1 carbine in my hands.

I agree the most ideal weapon is a long range silent gun but thats only good if your in a good position. Close range a shotguns best, it doesnt require a lot of accurancy. But Ii also bring a sledge hammer not only for attacking zombies but it's also handy if you get cornered between a horde and a locked door.

A mid-long range rifle with the most stopping power i can get, maybe a good revolver for a alt and a katana for close up.
