      Lamb of God

In regard to the two shows at MSG, Lamb of God is not headlining these shows. Instead they are special guests of Metallica. If you got tickets for Nov 14 or Nov 15 your head might explode from sheer awesomeness. I know mine will =P

      Lamb of God

well this is a little late and about a quarter of the shows have been done with but whatever.

On September 14th Lamb of God will commence the fall Wrath tour in the United States and Canada, combining 25 support shows with Metallica, with 25 headline shows with special guests Gwar and Job For A Cowboy. The tour will end at Madison Square Garden on November 15th. This will be Lamb of God's third tour with Metallica after a 3 week run last December in the US and a 7 week tour throughout Europe this summer.
Wrath debuted at number 2 on the Billboard chart and is on target to be the bands biggest worldwide selling record. The cd debuted at number 1 in Canada and Canadian fans will get multiple opportunities to see the band on the fall tour.

      Lamb of God

We are currently en route back to Copenhagen after our show at the Sonisphere festival in Finland. This tour has taken us to several new spots around the globe and it has been incredible to find dedicated fans that have been waiting so long for us to arrive. It's been an honor to share the stage with Metallica and get to know them and their crew. They set an inspiring example from the show to how they treat the people around them and we have taken many a note. We have been welcomed as a band, as friends and as drinking buddies from the start. To be on a 7 week run that plays to no less than 10,000 people a night has been surreal. I can tell you first hand that it's not easy to open up for Metallica. If you don't have your 'A' game on every night, you could end up in trouble! Fortunately, we've been around the block a few times and handled it well, held our own and gained a lot of new fans. It's been an incredible opportunity.
As this seven week trek comes to an end here in about a week, we are excited to go home, but also very happy about how things have gone for us over here. We have seen a considerable positive change in the interest and fan base of the band with the new album 'wrath' and the help of our new international label, Roadrunner. We couldn't be happier about that and look forward to returning and continuing to find more corners of the globe to infect.
We will be home for about six weeks before we head out again with Metallica across the US and Canada for nine weeks, beginning in Nashville in mid-September. We played the west coast in late '08 with them for a month, but this time we're heading everywhere. We've got some killer headlining shows planned along the way and since we just hit most of the major markets on the 'wrath' tour in the Spring, we will be digging into many of the smaller cities around the US. If you're one of the many who write us and ask why we never come to your town, you'll be interested in this itinerary. I expect we will have it posted in the next couple of days.
Once we wrap up the US/Canada run, we head back to Australia and New Zealand in December, and that's just the beginning. The 'wrath' world tour will weave its way throughout 2010 and possibly beyond. We've got opportunities coming in to visit new places such as South Africa, Israel, South America, the Philippines and Russia and the list seems to get longer instead of shorter. That's a great problem to have. We are very fortunate and I can't wait to get out there and kick some ass. Hope to see you along the way.

this time and ready i will try to keep this group going but we need this congregation to become stronger and soon.

make sure that the group is being watched and send invite to everyone and if they already have a invite send another and this shit that has been happening in the other groups if you are a part of the thunderdome you know what i am talking about so for precaution that when more people join the the admins may be shifted. so lets see some good forum posts and or if i think you are trustworthy enough to be admin you will get it but im not sure n that for now

i will have a lyrics post tomorrow morning if you have particular song that you want the lyrics to send me a message

      Lamb of God

      Broken, Bones and the will
Capacity to disappear in misery saves
Soaking, pain as a thrill, hate to instill
      Compassion's a cage

      Forgiving the father
Read the story on my skin
      I'll be the martyr
      Falling from his grace again

      Sunken, sooner or later
We crawl our way back into our favorite hole
      Drunken, swallow the savior
And follow him to hang from the highest pole

      Forgiving the father
Read the story on my skin
Tell me more about the man I should have been
      I'll be the martyr
      Falling from his grace again
This is where the end begins

      Lamb of God

so i figure since i havent been up to date with the group i have decided to post the lyrics of from some of there songs and possible a video if i have the time to do it. So today i think i'll go with one of my favorites from the Sacrament album. Here it is

      Blacken the Cursed Sun

Seize the darkened day, there's only Hell to pay.
And no left to see this prodigal return.
Sweet apathy's black toll, you'll mourn the traded soul.
I'll dig a deeper hole, sanctity a breath away.
      Just a breath away.

      Blacken the cursed sun,
      You're not the only one.
To have sunk so far and low,
      There is no tomorrow.

A tragedy on display, a sickness for all to see,
I will kill this part of myself that I hate
And that I see in you.
      It was always mine anyways,
There's somethings you can't take away.
I choose not to feel a thing,
      Sanctity a breath away.
      Just a breath away.

      Blacken the cursed sun,
      You're not the only one.
To have sunk so far and low,
      There is no tomorrow.
      Blacken the cursed sun,
Blacken what's yet to be done.
      Blacken because now you know,
      There is no tomorrow.

      You're just a breath away. [x2]

Better to die quick, fighting on your feet,
Then to live forever, begging on your knees.
Begging on your, begging on your
      Begging on your knees

      Can we still be saved?
      Hell, no!
Does your God hold a place for us?
      Hell, no!
      Is there time to repent?
      Hell, no!
Will we rise from the dead?
      Hell, no!
Can these sins even be forgiven?
      Hell, no!
Is there still hope for us?
      Hell, no!
      Were we ever even alive?
      Hell, no!
Is any of this even real?
      Hell, no!
