We all have probably heard by now, but the beloved Monty has passed away. I am still shocked. I cannot seem to get my head around the concept that someone who still had such potential and room to grow even more than he already had, is no longer with us. He was a lovable cast member and has managed to overcome impressive feats through hard work, dedication, and a love for his craft. I have him to thank for my love of 3-d animation. It breaks my heart that I can never tell him the impact he has made on my life in person. RIP Monty, and thank you for everything you have created and helped with. Your life was short but meaningful.

      Whoops! forgot to do December!
Christmas happened therefore I was busy buying, giving, and getting gifts.

This January I'll be pretty busy, so as you have begun to see, updates have been slowing down. Mental and now also physical health goes above Rooster Teeth on the list of priorities. Also exams and new classes start so chances are you wont see much of me. I'll try adding little things to this as the month progresses to keep updates up.

Heres a piece of info thats pretty much gossip, but hey. JJ no longer has the Cast & Crew tag, and Screen Play has been postponed/possibly cancelled or replaced. Sad to see that go but I'm excited to see what new thing comes up :)

10 Little Roosters! How is everyone doing on their guessing? So far I've gotten deaths right but weapons wrong. It's so exciting though!

The Rooster Teeth app is up and the Rooster Teeth vs Zombiens is up as well. Exciting! Haven't been away from my computer long enough to get much use out of the Rooster Teeth app though.

Also, THANKSGIVING! Remember to celebrate with your friends and family and tell them how much you care! Also, it may be a good chance to pass some love to the RT crew!

This one is short, monthly updates won't normally be as large as the first. Have a great Thanksgiving!

So, I'm gunna start doing little monthly updates on a variety of things to kind of keep everything running regularly now that this group that I made has a fair amount of members. I will try to keep them short, sweet, and to the point and encourage further discussion in the comments!

First up, everyone knows the Extra Life stream is coming up! It will be October 25, starting at 8am CST. Who's planning on watching? They just announced the poster design, but sadly, no shirt this time.

Second, I really like doing things for people and that is part of the reason I made this group. Somehow, I would like to be able to give back for all Rooster Teeth has done for me. I'm still thinking of ideas but I would like to move this group to be more oriented towards giving back to the employees instead of just have it sit here with a few updates now and then. I'm not looking to make this group become super popular or anything of the sort, I just want to be able to show my support and inspire others to do the same. If you have any ideas on something small, but meaningful to show our support for Rooster Teeth, feel free to message me or type your suggestion in the comments.

Last and most importantly, I'm still looking for feedback on the last post, so the more the merrier! It would really mean a lot, as I would like to use it as an opportunity to make something with it. Thank you to everyone who has given feedback so far, and since we do have a few crew members in this group, I'm obviously open to your two cents as well.

Strong emphasis on feedback appreciated for this.

Planning a little piece of writing about the Rooster Teeth community as a whole, mostly the community's interactions and reactions to employees (to kind of stick with the main topic of this group). If anyone has any suggestions or speculations on the subject, feel free to comment. I obviously don't know every single part of the community so feedback would be helpful. This will most likely be a few short paragraphs summarizing Community/Employee interactions mostly online from my perspective.
      Helpful feedback would include:
      - speculations
      - your points of view
      - how you view the cast
      - youtubers vs roosterteeth.com members in how they treat the cast
      - even members vs sponsors
      - honestly whatever two cents you think should be taken into consideration.
I want to know people's thoughts on this subject, even after the final thing is posted. Whatever happens with this plan will fluctuate depending on what direction this ends up going. My goal is to post the final thing with at least three decent paragraphs and then generate some feedback from you guys. In other words this won't be a huge term paper or something.

This idea is thanks to @jack and his recent comment about the community on the podcast, as well as my interest in human and community interaction.

If you are someone like me who is interesting in such things as these, I would recommend you keep an eye on @audrey as she is putting together a book proposal on online communities. You can check out this link to see more.

Rooster Teeth has become a big part of my life and has inspired me to try new things I never would have seen myself doing. I would thank every single Rooster Teeth employee personally if I could, but I guess I'll have to settle for this. Here you can rant over your favourite employee or share the impact Rooster Teeth has had on your life. Not all the employees are fully appreciated in the community as much as the bigger or newer names are, so here is a nice place to give some love to those not getting enough. Heres to the old, the new, and the future Rooster Teeth Employees! Let's share the love to the cast & crew! smiley7.gif
