I know that, as a ps3 owner, I cop a bit of abuse on the online community. I am aware of the fact that I have an Xbox Gamertag listed, I only use it for Games For Windows Live, specifically to play only those 2 games.

Before I start explaining why I like my PS3, and why I bought it instead of a 360, I'd just like to say that it's my opinion, in no way shape or form is the 360 a bad console, in fact, I still quite like it, I just like the PS3 better. So don't bother pulling the flamethrower out.

There are a number of things I considered before choosing any console. The first is the games. Obviously, it's a gaming console, it MUST, play decent games. I got into the market a little late, so the PS3 had started pumping out some decent games. To name a few, Metal Gear Solid 4, inFamous, Uncharted 2, Resistance 2, God of War 3, those sort of games.

As a console, the PS3 does so much more. Buying it was, in fact, better value for money. The 360 bundles at the time were on par with the PS3, however, the PS3 still wins. By buying it, I saved money on a blue ray player. By getting PlayTV, I saved money because it was cheaper than buying another recording device, increasing the use out of my PS3. If I ever get around to playing online, I won't have to buy a wireless adapter or a subscription.

I don't really give a shit about consoles online, so the last wasn't really something to swing my opinion, and I will admit, everything I've seen says the 360 has better online.

Graphically, Blu-Ray allows for better graphics, and more content on each disc.

I will admit, I'm not thrilled about some of the games I will miss by being a PS3 owner, but, you do have to make sacrifices. 360s are good, but I just prefer the PS3
