I'm up in Detroit to visit some family and WOW this city is worn down. The roads are rough, every other strip mall and plaza is a ghost town, and most of the warehouse district and factories look like scenes from a post apocalyptic thriller. It's half sad and half eye opening to the reality of just how reliant, and damaging this oil and spending economy we built our country on has really come back to hurt us. Oh well. Time to invest in hydrogen and run my xbox off of solar cells :-)
