#RTCQ Levels (we love)

Hey RT,

This week's Rooster Teeth Community question was inspired by the one and only @Supafitz

Today I conquered The Water Temple in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Yes, yes, I know, I do deserve a round of applause, but more importantly, I was reminded of my first play-through of the infamous dungeon. Every sound in LoZ brings back a memory from my childhood, as do many other game remakes, like Halo Anniversary or Sonic Generations. So this week, I thought we could each share some of our favorite gaming memories.

What is ONE level that you played over and over again as a child because you loved it so much?

Please be sure to post the NAME OF THE VIDEO GAME in bold at the top of your comment to avoid spoiling anything for readers (or you can use the spoiler font if you want, doesn't matter). Lets see if any of us share the same fond memories, and be ready for next week when we'll talk about the video game moments we despised!

My answer:
CONKER'S BAD FUR DAY

Level: Enter the Vertex

Chainsaws, machine guns, and teddy bears. Conker's Bad Fur Day was the SHIT back in the day (seriously, there's an entire song about shit that's featured in the game). Yep, Conker's BFD is probably one of my favorite games of all time (and is filled with the classiest of high-brow humor), and the last level of the game featured an elaborate parody of The Matrix that was JUST. SO. AWESOME. My little brother and I played it to the point of memorization and it was STILL fun. Sure, Microsoft rereleased the game for the Xbox, but it just wasn't the same. No sir, my hat goes of to the furry, red squirrel from 2001. Here's to you and your chocolate bars, buddy!

Any part of the Metroid Prime Trilogy.........the entire damn series was amazing, start to finish. But hearing the updated Lower Norfair theme in the Magmoor Caverns was a nice touch of nostalgia..........

the whole game is very special. one of the last SNES games. just read it wasn´t released in america. you guys missed a great game. deep emotions with great characters and intersting story and developing world (cities change depending on decisions in game)
it was one of the few games that was even translated into german. that was very unusual.
a game i will play many more times in future xD

    Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
    Level: Mine Cart Carnage.

I remember when I first tried playing that level. Couldn't have been older than 6 or 7. It was so frustratingly hard (damn you, awkward rail placements). When I did however master the level ( granted, a few years down the line...) I was a fucking pro. I felt so awesome every time I finished the level without a hitch. I could never get that balloon though.

Now I kinda want to break out the cartridge and see if I still remember.

EDIT: I can't believe this level made me cry... www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGRwiHoTcwY
