So while doing a Let's Play of Mirror's Edge, I remembered how unique of a game it is. It's a shame game dev's, at least AAA game dev's, are afraid to take a leap of faith (hehe see what I did there?) when it comes to new types of games. I remember a time when unique games seemed to be coming out all the time!

Remember the feeling you got when first picked up that new game and it was a whole new experience, unlike something you've played before? I haven't felt that in a long time, and I miss it. So this is my call to you game devs: Take a chance, do something new and risky and original!
